try formating your 3ds not the sd, use julian20's sysupdater from page 95 I think and also start the sysupdater through menuhax. I downgraded my brothers N3DS with those steps and it worked after the second try. Also just have the files on your sd which you need. (Startrkit, Sysupdater and the updates folder)

But if I format then I'll lose my streetpass data, and I really don't wanna restart that again. I tried that method before but it didn't work, but I'll format my SD card again and retry.

Great!! Also, I have a quick question. I'm downloading 9.20.0U(full).zip for my O3DS. Is it supposed to be roughly 11GB in size because my computer says that it is.

O_O 11GB?! Try somewhere in the 300mb range

Yeah. If it's 11 GB, it's probably not the right pack... Maybe it's all the update files for all versions and regions? XD

Considering you have less than an hour to format I would think very carefully. You window of opportunity is slipping for that.

I hated that damn error because I didn't know if it was my SD, Files, or just the exploit being an asshole and not working.

I'm now also having a pain in the ass running the exploit again on my n3ds (with SafeSysupdater...)

Take out the "S" and make sure there is no punctuation marks in it. It should be (SD:\update\"files")

I did that a few minutes ago but it said it could not read the update file and asked me if it was named updates.

This was only the case in very early sysUpdater versions

Nope. When I got it it was just named updates.

Did you make sure all the CIA files are in that folder? Sometimes, if one is missing, it can be a bit picky.

Like i said before all is ok on your side, the problem is with the hax i think .. And all his files are ok since it passed the SafeSysUpdater checks

People don't have to update their consoles, btw. We can keep trying until next year if we wanted to.
