I finally figured it out.
It appears that the Homebrew Channel does not like certain file names for the folders? So I had to rename pocketsnes_libretro's folder name to something like "pocketsnes" for it to work. But not only that, I didn't know the folder had to have the same name as the .3dsx and .smdh files. So after I did all that renaming, it finally showed up in the Homebrew Channel. I'm not sure why I am the only one that had to rename everything (I don't see anyone else talking about the issue) but it worked. Very strange.

By the way, is it true that the SNES emulators run better when installed a .CIA instead of running them from the Homebrew Channel?

It is definately true. I just downgraded, and installed the emus as CIA and it runs better. Most games you may not notice, but the games that do lag now, will run smoother.

OK. That's interesting. I wonder why that is? Anyway I guess I wasted all that time figuring out how to get them to launch from Homebrew Channel!

It is a bit of a pain to get wverythig going..or maybe cuz i did it at 3am lol but it was a headache. Downgrading was fast and simple, but gettingg rxtools emunand and everything formatted was a little time consuming for me. I used this tutorial. You must be on 9.2 first!

Thank you; I appreciate it but I am already on CFW :)

I was just confused as to how the SNES emulator could run better as a CIA than a .3dsx

trying to use GpSP .cia version on my N3DS 9.5 emunand anf i keep getting the error "failed to start audio driver. will continue without audio" then my 3ds freezes. Any solutions? Should i use a different gba core?
Still have this issue with no solutions. Anybody have advice or a build I should use?

Delete your Retroarch configuration file. If you recently switched to CIA use then you may not know that you require a separate DSP file to use DSP as it was built into *Hax2.5

Loving these emulators, they all run 60 FPS on N3DS! SNES, NES, GBC, GBA, and Sega Genesis all run flawless.
But GBA games for some reason, love to crash the emulator randomly at any time, forcing me to shutdown. Is this normal? I was in the middle of Zelda A Link To The Past and this suddenly happened.

I can't get FFIX to work with PCSX core (N3DS 9.0 with CIA retroarch)
Is this game playable?
Works for me at a good speed but sound is really bad. Using the (E) version, converted all discs into one pbp file.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Final Fantasy Tactics on PCSX (.cia) on n3ds 9.5 emunand

getting 15-20 fps

anybody else having similar experience. I am hoping that something is wrong on my end, and that this game can run better.
Did you try the settings recommended in the OP?

Oh god, how could understand them making WarioWare Twisted work w/ the gyrosensor, but the 3DS doesn't have a light sensor. Maybe there's an edited ROM that gets rid of the light sensor?
The N3DS seems to have some kind of light sensor, but that's just to adjust the screen's auto-brightness. Not sure if something like that's accessible to homebrew software.
