Hello, I am new to the whole CFW thing. I downgraded my 3ds(old) from 10.3 to 9.2 and I installed rxtools. People are saying I should get an emunand but I can't find how to make one for RxTools. Can you guys help

format your 3ds, delete all files on the sd card. Put the gateway 3ds launcher.dat onto the root of your sd card, go to go.gateway.com on your 3ds, if gateway doesnt do anything download boot.3dsx and get the gateway homebrew version. Run gateway and locate Format Emunand, let that do its thing. Load the 3ds then turn it off. Then download rxtools again ,( make sure to reset the database files) and load it up, run rxmode in emunand and emunand should boot up. hope this somehow helped

Yes, if you have games or something then well, i think you can relink your nintendo network id and redownload them, if not then unless you own another 3ds your gonna have to delete it. Transfer your data to another 3ds if possible (i did that)

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Oh right yeah gateway has a thing to extract save files, only for cards i think though!

Will I be able to put my files back onto it afterwards?

No, im not sure, maybe since its the Nintendo 3DS folder ya need to keep. I say keep the nintendo 3ds folder handy on your computer and once emunand loads up succesfuly you can replace the newly created one thats required for setup!

there is a folder inside the nintendo 3ds folder (Nintendo3DS/(random numbers and letter)/(random numbers and letter)/dbs) inside the dbs folder are 2 files, delete them then create two text files and save them as import.db and title.db, then on your 3DS go to system settings, data managment, and then click Nintendo 3DS then click software, click reset after that
