Homebrew How to install legit CIA files 9.3-10.3

This works for me every time. I have the latest version of Ironfall (can't get the old version form the eshop but that's another problem) but this method still works.

If you're having difficulty getting FBI to work on your N3DS 10.3 then follow these steps!

Okay so guys, i downgraded sucessully 3 times but have not managed to get the rxTools to work properly. After it initialised and i have to press any button, i just get 2 black screens. I followed this guide:

I have a N3DS XL. It shouldn't make a difference, the firmware is the same on both.

How are you booting into Menuhax? Do you hold L when you turn the 3DS on to boot into it?

Finally got nsmb to install on my N3DS

Try changing it to Type 2.

I had mine set up so it automatically boots into Menuhax without having to press a button. I set it up so if you hold L while booting, it would boot normally.

This could be your problem.

It could only brick of your 3ds turns off at one specific moment afaik

So i guess get a case for the button and get some ducktape and tape it to the charger?

Do i run FBI and then pick a CIA and then just wait 10 minutes and BAM?

This could be your problem.

Swapped to type 2, still no difference. Continues to freeze on Cleaning Up

Pretty much. Keep in mind it doesnt like n3ds' so watch out.

FBI always has been noobproof. Just keep your 3ds turned on.

I believe I saw a user refer to another one as "unlucky legit CIA guy" in another thread. Presumably yes.
