Homebrew is homebrew safe

he thinks it could be malicous or something stupid like that and i told him it has userland access and that every one says its safe

Um. It sounds like your dad doesn't know technology. Not to be rude..

Homebrew isn't necessarily something that will mess up your system files. Things like emulators, or homebrew games? They're safe. Even playcoinsetter is safe. You're not doing anything to harm the system.

You're much more likely to see malware on your PC than a 3ds. I mean like 100 times more.
3ds userland malware is possible, but most homebrew devs want to hold on to their reputations.

Hello dad, :grog: homebrew is very safe it only has userland access and cant possibly ruin a console at worst you get a freeze/lockup and a simple reboot fixes the issue.

my dad and my grandpa are techies and he has run homebrew on our wii so i dont know what hes complaining about
he does think its cool though especially about duke nukem on my 3ds
