Tutorial Simple Guide to Downgrading your 3DS

I get an error stating it failed to get cia info when I attempted to downgrade. What do I do now? I'm using n3ds on 10.3

That's correct. Are you sure you're using .cia files for the NEW 3DS and not ones for the OLD 3DS? They use different .cias.

I'm using iron hax I'm on 10.3 n3ds

Try using Ninjhax or Menuhax instead of Iron. Menuhax worked for me on my Old 3DS.

Also, other people have been experiencing the same problem as you. Some people say that if you keep trying it it will eventually work. I can't be sure.

well it almost worked. It found one cia and then It gave me an error message stating an error has occurred please hold down power button and try again. I guess I'm part of the fuckin 20% brick community huh?

Formatting your 3DS then downgrading could fix that. You should try downgrading a few times, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. The updater is unstable.

If you're using a New 3DS there's a risk of it bricking. Even if you do everything right. If I were you I'd wait for a more stable updater.

Hold L R UP A then press power button. Youll be taken to the update screen and start fresh from there. Its possible that you only just got a softbrick.

I have one more question. Should I just wait for KTM which is supposed to release tomorrow?
