ROM Hack How to dump installed titles from 3DS?

I bought a N3DS and I'm in the middle of migrating from my o3ds. Because my emunand n3ds 9.5 can't use eshop (hans starts eshop but error while trying to download something), but I need some game updates. don't want to download it from 4etjtp.dpn (ceaser encrypted text, 1 letter xD), but i have the needed updates on my o3ds, isn't it possible to dump the necessary titles? (also want to dump my bought homemenu themes)

You can get on the eShop just fine with 9.5 Emunand. What region is your N3DS? JPN/USA/EUR?

EUR, I'm using smea's dns, I don't want to get update notification. are the blocked server by the dns also used for eshop?

Your emunand can be backed up with this https://gbatemp.net/threads/emunand-tool-release-and-support-thread.359239/ if you get cold feet or it does not work for you, you can restore it.

Download and install these two titles from 3DSNUS while in Emunand
Nver - 000400DB20016102 v448
Tiger - 0004001000022900 v19465

this will let you get on the eShop by running freemultipatcher (or smealum's eShop pacher) and selecting eShop like normal.

That's because they removed everything pre 9.9 from the servers a while back.

Now it's downloading - but what about my bought themes? My NNID is not linked to the n3ds (why nintendo why you don't allow me to use NNID with more than one 3ds?!?)

Well you do have a hacked 3DS you can download every theme under the sun in one pack from the usual place and install the entire pack as a CIA. Note going to the eShop will delete all of the themes but you can re install them but I don't see it happening often since there's not much need to be in the eShop besides updates.

thanks mate, but I'm just interested in only 2or 3 themes, your mega package is overkill (and for usa, don't know if it works with my eur console) btw I'm having slow internet right know, that's why I even used xorpads to convert my gw 3ds roms to cia.

Your system version should say 9.5.0-28 try shutting down and try again.

Huh? I installed cia's with Bigredmenu, but system version was still 9.5.0-23E - tried it again with FBI into NAND - now my fw is finally 9.5.0-28 BUT: click on eshop --> Nintendo 3ds logo loop/freeze...

Welp guess you can restore not sure why it wont work I do use a GW though maybe GW does something different than rxTools. Sorry guy I tried to help you

I readed somewhere that gw spoof every title at boot - rxtools not and when starting eshop something goes wrong because wrong fw detected

yeah - in gw mode eshop works flawlessly, but that kinda sucks, I'm trying toget rid of gateway, because I'm planning to lend it with my o3ds away
