Homebrew I have some questions about the "eShop - old version downloader"

What sort of thing could be possible with this sort of hack?:
* Downloading (free or purchased) titles that you cannot normally download?
* Choosing specific versions to download?

stranger things have happened, but it seems somewhat unlikely.

also, it would be great if this allowed access to removed from the eshop apps and games, such as the free four swords zelda game or that sonic card collection thingy.
but really, it seems like this cant do anything else but force the eshop do download specific versions of stuff thats still on the shop. while it does seem surprising that they'd even keep old versions of a game on their servers, but it seems like we're just lucky nintendo isn't all that big when it comes to server and online stuff

It is something downloading you used to be able to download "legally" (without homebrew), so I doubt they would ban you for it.

No as because u are connecting to there sever as of your where using the the regular eshop.

But wouldn't Nintendo be able to monitor such downloads? Especially of an "Old" Version of the game that they don't allow anymore? One would think that They would see loads of people downloading ironfall en masse and wonder why, or see its the old version being downloaded. Especially after Smea's hax presentation, Im sure Nintendo could Put 2 and 2 together.

Is this working any longer? I get a generic error from the eShop when I try to download "The Legend of Zelda" with this hack enabled. Have the old versions been removed, or are they just no longer downloadable with this hack or the eShop in general?

yeah but you are downloading a file that should not be accessible anymore. since they could log the dates at which this version is downloaded by which user, they could, technically, ban your nnid. but it seems unlikely they'd start going through that kind of trouble now and also since nintendo is kinda slow on the banning game... yeah, chances are close to zero

yes you need to download it with download later NOT download NOW

For me its not loading at all it just shows the Shooping Bag with the smiley face. ANyone getting that?

I feel like pointing out that this only works if you're on or above 10.2.

I got it to load and used the Download Later and I installed the Iron Hax installer for HB and it gave me the error "this remaster-version(0002) of IRONFALL is not compatable with IRONHAX" how can I fix this?

It doesn't. And I am on the latest System Version.
Sleep Mode download doesn't make a difference.

Help me out please. I was downloading Ironfall v1.0 from old eShop, it took like two hours just for 70%. I decided to sleep mode download it later. Later I switched on my 3DS, Put it to sleep mode, and it went till 72%. Then, suddenly, it became 0%. My question: What the fuck did happen?

I'd never do a sleep mode download with a spoofed eshop.

Are you on a o3ds? Try using menuhax to use the eshop old version downloaded. That should fix it.
