The video (vsync?) issue still seems to be present in the newest build (flickering lines, usually at the top of the screen - most visible in the gba castlevania games) in gpsp, catsfc, and gamebatte, just in case it isn't already known. Everything else works perfectly, though (including the dsp driver!)

I can't seem to get RetroArch to even register the roms; I go to "Load Content," then to the specified folder where the rom is, and it doesn't show up. I'm on an old3DS, firmware: 10.3.0-28U, using .3dsx files.

And what are you trying to load? Which Emulator are you using?

I've tried both the Genesis & SNES emulators, trying to load the "Ecco the Dolphin" and "Kirby's Dreamland 3" roms, respectively. They don't show up to be selected...

there's more than just one Genesis/SNES emulator. does "No Core" appear in the bottom left?

just to be sure: Genesis games usually end in .md, SNES usually end in .sfc

Honestly for snes your best bet is to use Blargsnes as the devs here will tell you as well.

And no idea on the genesis. Haven't used that myself. But take everything with a grain of salt as O3DS is not the best for emulators.

Dag nab it @ihaveamac, Ninja'd again.

Yes, in fact: "No Core" DOES appear there. Don't know what I'm supposed to do about it, though... What does it mean?

it means you have one of the broken builds. for a while "No Core" was appearing.

you can always get the newest ones here: http://buildbot.libretro.com/nightly/nintendo/3ds/

if you don't know which one to pick, pick the last one that ends in _3dsx.7z

So I just downloaded the most recent build (12/28/2015), and now the Genesis emulator freezes up when I try to start it...

Great. Guess I'll have to try an earlier build...

You need 1.3b. It's also on the webpage.

Or just use that link to download 1.3b
