Hacking QQ3DS PRO vs Sky3ds+

2 different exploits

one is being actively developed and it supports N3DS systems up to 10.2 (or 10.1 can't remember). The other is known but there isn't any KNOWN development on it, it would allow any firmware any system downgrade

There was two arm11 exploits shown at the conference, snshax and memchunkhax2. SNShax only works below 10.2 because the safe mode exploit was fixed in 10.2, and it only works on the N3DS. Memchunkhax2 "works" on the latest firmware, and all models. Both allow downgrading through legit cias.

it's worth nothing that both of these don't exist, and snshax isn't a kernel exploit. memchunkhax2 is, and snshax is just for people to flee to 9.2 and below (where there is known kernel exploits).

QQ3DS is basically a Sky3DS+ with a different sticker.

if you are not aware of what a Sky3DS is, it's a 3DS flash cart that "emulates" a game card. the way that it works means that Nintendo couldn't patch it in a firmware update because the 3DS sees it as a normal game card.

Depends, what FW are you on? I suggest only updating to 10.3 if you don't have a consistent way to access homebrew, and can't live without updating smash. The two exploits that allow arm11 kernel access work on 9.3-10.3/10.1.

im not sure yet, waiting for the console delivery.. just as an example it has 9.5? what would you suggest to play backups?

Sky3ds if you can't wait for possible CFW. If you don't want want the new AP games just get the sky3ds, it's cheaper and probably is in stock.
