I don't suppose there's any way to install the homebrew channel directly to the System Menu on 9.0 or below? And if there is, can anyone provide a link?

On 9.0, I think that you can. Lower, I think you can't.

2.5 haxs only work on 9.0+ but if he can install cias he can have emunand where this homebrew launcher cia really comes in handy.

Yes, it's called Cubic Ninja and it can load Ninjhax 1.1b on firmwares higher or equal to 4.0.0
