i notice they sortof fix a bug i reported in 3.5.1. i reported the system freezes when you back out of the select menu after not selecting a game. it was first select a game then reenter the select menu then press b to back out and the system would freeze.
they fix it by pressing b on the select menu deselect the current loaded game.
also notice if you select the same game that is already loaded you get a "this game card cannot be read. please remove and reinsert the game card." error. the game still loads.

Do you know the difference between signed, unsigned and exact searches?

Signed meaning:

-128 to 127 for 8-bit signed
-32,768 to 32,767 for 16-bit signed
-2,147,483,648 to 2,147,483,647 for 32-bit signed

Unsigned:

0 to 255
0 to 65,535
0 to 4,294,967,295

You can enter cheats in the cheatlist editor and they are "live" when you exit the ingame menu. They are even still there when you re-enter the menu. They just aren't saved to a file in the cheats folder.. Maybe they should add that though.

But it definitely does not mean you need to shut down the 3DS. You can just exit the game and pop out the GW red card to put a cheats file.

LOL, I'm an imbecile. I had it on the SD card, not the microSD card that goes in the red card.

I don't want to get overly technical, but signed is mainly used when the value can be positive or negative, while unsigned is if the value is only positive (0 or more).

L+R is probably the worst in game menu combo. I'm liking this though. Switching to classic without rebooting the GW is awesome.

Don't shut the screen whilst the cheat menu is running. I did that, left the 3DS for a few minutes and came back to a black screen. I had to hard power it off.
Lesson learnt.

And how do you do it? I pressed all the buttons on the console but i can't make it switch to SYSNAND at all

Sorry for the slightly off topic question, but since its a Gateway question, and this is the most active gateway thread right now I'm hoping its alright. I have an O3DS XL, running 8.x.xU. Is there a way I can use my gateway card plus a 9.2.0U rom to SAFELY update the sysnand to 9.2.0U? This is a christmas present for my younger sibling, and I'm trying to get a cold boot of rxTools to work on it.

I don't think anybody w/ a nand mod has tested updating with the new sysnand mode yet. So the answer is still no with gateway for now.

gateway still works on 8.xx so no point in upgrading it to 9.2. just get a retail cart with 9.2 if you're really desperate.
