Homebrew [Request] super mario maker 3ds

Super Mario War is open source, not quite what you are looking for but it was ported to NDS once (great Wii port too) and might be a good start.
Least one that has already been ported to Nintendo consoles in the past.
A live map making system and classic mario style play could probably be adapted if ya really must, plus multiplayer local n network.

Though I'd be happy seeing the game ported to 3DS with local network multiplayer. xD
Maybe a zoom function and/or two player shared on one machine complicated sorta setup.
Bigger maps to make networked local multiplayer more worth it....
Eh I'm day dreaming, game deserves a port to 3DS though.

Ooohh I used to play SMWar, it was amazing. Porting the DS version is probably easy-ish.

Ya I still have it on the Wii and bring it up at parties.

DS port wasn't all too finished but it could be a great starting point.

Theres the homebrew. Don't expect much from it, buts its pretty impressive for what it is.

I upgraded to windows 10 - wish i didn't it's hell

Go to system settings. There is a way to downgrade back to the original OS you were on before that. (Only works within a month)

I figured I should sum up what we have for "Mario Maker 3DS"

-Two DS homebrew, MarioCraft and NSMBe on DS(requires DS flashcart)
-The ability to use PC programs such as SMB Utility, Reggie! Next or Lunar Magic to edit levels of nes/snes/3ds mario games, which you can run on the 3DS with certain emulator, or installed as a CIA(in NSMB2's case)(requires a PC((of course)))

Got some more info on it. It is indeed not fake. It was made using Petit Computer, an Application on the 3DS that you can buy on the eShop to create small games. Im looking more into it I'd like to test it out.

I have Mario Maker PTC, and it definitely is not what was in the video.

Maybe when the love2d port is further along someone could try running mari0 on 3ds.
Iirc it had an editor mode.
