Hacking Question about... Everything!

Hello guys. I have been around here for few weeks and enjoying the forum have a n3ds xl and I really love it. So thinking about the future I have some questions here. And yeah I know I should read the stickies first but I might not even buy a Wii U maybe because it turns out it will not worth for me.
1. So first of all does it worth it? (I am a ps4 and ps3 owner how better worse or same is the experience compared to them?) Like how are the games how much games are there? Etc. Basic things
2. If there is hack and I think I read that correctly that there is then can you hack it at home without any modding stuff that you should buy?
3. Whaf are the cfw capabilities? What can you do what you cant?
4. Can you play online on backup games? What about the ban?

I think thats it for now. A wii u price is not a 3ds price and I would like to make it sure.

To answer 1. , The games won't be as great as PS4 games. This is coming from a Nintendo fan that does NOT play PS4 or Xbox One. Just 3DS and Wii U.
I have about 20 Wii U games, and most of them are meh. Only one is great, Xenoblade Chronicles. Most games are platformers. The library is lacking in my opinion.


2. You need a Wii U on firmware 5.3.2 to take advantage of playing game backups. But soon, hacks are gonna be supported on the latest 5.5.0 firmware. All you can do for now is load up games from an SD card. We're well on our way to full access to the Wii U though. We can even hope for online in backed up games in the future.

Graphically, the Wii U is not as good as PS4....but there are TONS of exclusive games on the Wii U such as the Mario games, Splatoon, Pikmin, Smash, Bayonetta 2, Hyrule Warriors, Xenoblade Chronicles X and NES Remix just to name a few. Just don't get a Wii U thinking you're going to be playing the latest Call of Duty game or something (although Black Ops 2 and Ghosts was released on the Wii U). The Wii U is worth the price, IMO, but I say it all depends on what games you are wanting to play which is what I try to tell people when they ask me what console(s) to buy. I say PS4 and Wii U are best, I have an Xbox One and rarely touch it...but thats because it doesn't have the games *I WANT*. I don't care for Halo, Titanfall or Sunset Overdrive, but I do enjoy Rare Replay and Forza games.

Yep once Hykem's epxloit is released, we will have full access to the wii U. It's coming Dec 24th, but may be pushed further if more work is needed.

To buy a Wii U and only be able to afford let's say one game $60, not worth it in my opinion. But if you're going to hack the console, heck yeah it's worth it! Don't forget that the Wii U doubles as a Wii U and a Wii. You can even play Gamecube and Wii games on it. Gamecube games can be controlled with a ps3/4 controller.

There's a handfull of decent wii U games, but new releases are included so there's things to look forward to. Right now you'll need to get ahold of a Wii U on 5.3.2 or lower. I got my Wii U for $250 on Cyber monday. I then bought ANOTHER wii U console only, and sold my console for the same price.

You should definitely look at the main Wii U hacking thread, read it over and over, you'll know everything. All it takes is a 5.3.2 Wii U and a large SD card for the games. Which are different in sizes such as 2 GB, 4 GB, 6 GB, 8 GB, 11 GB, highest I've seen is 19 GB.
So you'll be fine with a 128 GB SD card.

Hello guys! So I am about to buy today or so a Wii U checked the bundle thread but some bundles are missing and not sure which version I should get.
So here are my options, can someone help me which would be the best bet that is on 5.3.2 or below?

Nintendo Wii U Premium Pack + Mario Kart 8 + Splatoon Bundle (340$)
Nintendo Wii U Premium Pack + Xenoblade Chronicles X Bundle (340$)
Nintendo Wii U Super Mario Maker Bundle (340$)
Nintendo Wii U Premium Mario Kart 8 (Which is 387$ pretty expensive)
Nintendo Wii U Mario + Luigi Premium Pack (340$)
Nintendo Wii U basic pack 8gb + Wii remote plus + WiiU Party (250$)

Also I am planning to buy some games that I will play online I can do the 5.5.0 spoofing and play online on them without a problem?

This one is still risky since there are multiple versions : Nintendo Wii U Premium Mario Kart 8

The others as far as I know are on lower firmwares.

Yes if you are on 5.3.2 you can spoof to 5.5.0 and play online and even use eshop to buy stuff if you need.

As far as I know (unless that box has been opened before) that pack has low firmware version. But yeah the best thing to do is ask the seller.

If you bought the Wii U only for IOSU exploit, then I would suggest that's a good idea , since even if the xploit comes out tomorrow, all interesting stuff would still be a while away.
