Hacking nnu patcher with smash dlc

hey there everyone. i have my wii u spoofed to 5.5.0 with wup installer and am trying to download the shash dlc i previously bought using nnu patcher. for some reason it stays on pending and time left stays on estimating forever under download management. i figured maybe a reboot of the console would help, but it hasnt unfortunately. is there any solution to this?

Check your update blocking methods. Perhaps its blocking download from nintendo eshop servers.

if your using tubehax do this, first cancell all your downloads that are pending, do kernel and nnu patcher again, go to e shop, download one file at a time.only put another to download once one has finished on the download manager.

That's fine and all, but how can you download anything if you can't get rid of the freakin' red X in Download Management?

lol the X is for system updates that tubehax downloads, everything on e shop is acessable.

I know that. But all my downloads stay incomplete with the option either to "delete" or "download first" as long as that X is there. The only times I've been able to download anything is when it's gone, because a system update has priority in the download queue. I know it's not an actual update, but the fact remains that getting in the eShop is useless if my queued downloads won't start. I've been in the eShop and bought Cloud and Midgar but can't download them.

do this trick once you got all your downloads there, do a hard shutdown on the wiiu by either pressing the button for like 5 seconds or pulling the plug then turn on the wiiu and it should download them now since after a hard shutdown it takes awhile for system update to be requested.

Ah. Thanks! That explains why I was able to download Fatal Frame before. I was trying to see if the Update Remover would have any effect on the red X when the kernel exploit failed and froze up, so I had to hard reset. Afterward, the X was gone and Fatal Frame was downloading. I just tried your suggestion and it worked! Again, thanks, and sorry if I was a pain.

On a related note, is there supposed to be a problem with the update using wupinstaller? Everytime I try to install the update I get an error. I downloaded the DLC just fine.

Edit: Clarification. I initially got a "0x0000000" error, now I get a "0xFFFCFFF9" error or something like that.

yes you can if you use kernel and then nnu patcher, if you cant acess e shop is becuase you arent spoofed to 5.5.0 or you have other blocks set.

Never seen either. Are you saying the error happens when you launch the game or when returning to home menu for the install to start?

You need to wait 30min to an hour (or longer if your SD is slow) for the update to install correctly

After I exit the Home Menu the second time. And now I'm getting 0x0000000 after coming back hours later from school.

you aure you are on 5.3.2?

Yes, I've been on it since 5.3.2 came out, I use all the other homebrew tools just fine on the console. I spoofed it when the wupinstaller was released, never had any major issues.

If that is true, you may want to start over with browser because I've never seen the error and it's not something I see in the source, at least the parts I understand (the c mostly). I tried looking at it, none of the print functions do that, so it sounds like the console bitching to me.

Are you using the right kernel exploit? I really dont know bud. We should probably move over to wup installer thread. please post there and @EclipseSin. Dont know if I can help but should keep the info in the right place.
