Having a strange issue with the more recent nightlies (dec 9th) - In certain games there's flickering across the top of the screen(tried w/ Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow (gpsp) and Megami Tensei: The Old Testament (catsfc)). The flickering disappears when I use a filter, but this slows the games down as well. Tried deleting my config to no avail. This bug seems present (for me, at least) in the oldest build available on buildbot. Anyone else noticed it? Is there a fix?

Flickering like this ?
That problem first occured weeks ago, there's been no fix yet indeed.

@Fatalanus and others: The 3DS port has been largely the work of aliaspider. Looking at GitHub, he hasn't made any commits to the libretro project itself in about three weeks, so any issues that crop up are just other changes breaking 3DS support rather than anything 3DS-related being worked on. It's probably a good idea to stick to using an older nightly (November 24 seems to be the last time aliaspider touched it, if that helps you decide when to use) until aliaspider or somebody else returns to work on RA for 3DS.

December 9 (cia, 3dsx, 3ds) seems to be the last one before the "No Core" issue popped up.

one nightly however added some kind of vsync(?) issue that I've only noticed in gpSP. I'll see which one doesn't have that... November 23 looks like the last one without this issue. unfortunately the nightly for this is gone from the build server so here's a rehost: 2015-11-23_RetroArch_3dsx.7z

the last one that worked properly was December 9 (cia, 3dsx, 3ds).

the last one that might not have visual glitches would be November 23. I only have the 3dsx version of this if you want it: 2015-11-23_RetroArch_3dsx.7z

try this. it's an old build but it might give you the least amount of issues. 2015-11-23_RetroArch_3dsx.7z
Hi. Where can I find older build? Like those in October. I have hax 2.1 installed on OOT, so I have the extra slot to play the OOT game. Hax 2.5 is menuhax which's used for everything else. I want to get the build which work for hax 2.1. Link on OP only shows December builds.

those are really old and you're probably better off just using 2.5. I don't think I have versions that old.

if you can you should set up an alternate entry point as well.

So...I'm in need of guidance.

I accidentally set input 1 to some odd setting which cause me to loose all
ability to navigate the menu.

(Prior to this I had no problems running retro arch software)

So I figured I'd have to edit the config file manually. I opened it up and didn't know what to change to what so I figured I'd just uninstall all retro arch cia, delete the retro arch folder on the
micro ad card and update to the latest nightly.

That process went smoothly, however, upon opening any retro arch program such as catsfc, gpsp or fccemu(sp?) and loading the rom folder no roms show up. Another odd thing I noticed is upon loading any retro arch program it says 'no core' on the bottom of the gui when
Before it would say catsfc.

Has there been a new way to set up retro arch since when I set it up a

I think it's the common problem since December 9 build. So use December 8 build.

I set up hax 2.5 as main entry point. Just that's I want to make use of the extra save slot on OOTHAX as back up entry point in case the main entry point goes wrong. So with that's I want to add retroarch 3DSX version which works with hax 2.1.

Hax 2.5 was released on October 25 (?), so build 25 is the last to work with hax 2.1?

On games like Space Harrier and Thunderblade, up and left are tied to the left Dpad and right and down are tied to the right Dpad even though the controls are properly mapped and work correctly in other games. Anyone know why this is?

I'd also like to know if there are any hax 2.1 builds still on the internet. A link to the Past only works on BlargSNES 1.2 which as far as I'm aware doesn't work in 2.5 and it's the only option for O3DS atm for them.
