PS4 has interest cause it has more good games. Nothing more than that imo.

I'm currently downloading all the free software available on the wii u eshop just in case an exploit comes out for one of them. It's very unlikely but possible.

I wonder if anyone has tried using a PDF as an entry point. I think it just uses the browser, but it's a weird and locked one/version. I know PDF use to have vulnerabilities on Windows. Some VC at the very least, seem to load the PDF from nintendo's servers and is easily redirect-able as it's not using SSL.

Maybe a web browser exploit could do something about that in the near future. I could be totally wrong though since I don't follow the wii u homwbrew scene much. I have a 5.5 wii u. I first heard of the kernel exploit not long after the 5.4 release, so there was no point of of me checking back here very often. I'm mostly browse the 3DS section.

I guess this is off topic since it's the "Wii U Hacking & Homebrew" thread and not PS4, but...

@zecoxao, the exploit was patched after 2.00? Otherwise, why would they not wait until they had two exploits stockpiled to release one? I imagine the PS4 is going to have a much longer life than the Wii U, making exploit longevity of even greater importance.

well it could always be a 2 stage exploit similar to ironhax, i.e use a unstable browser exploit to install a save game hack which is a lot more reliable
