Most people hate AMD for just being AMD, without providing any real proof or arguments. More often than not, AMD cards are better priced for what they have to offer. ;)
True that. I got my 750 Ti because it was on sale for $125 Canadian, but AMD is pretty good for retail regular price.

yup its why I bought r9 390 for $255
the whole 3.5GB and improper dx12 support on the gtx 970 pretty much put me off of nvidia, the 390 is more powerful, alot cheaper, 8GB vs 3.5GB, but you deal with higher heat output and higher power consumption

sorry to bring this off topic, but at least its more interesting than the 100th person posting they can run mk8 at 10fps and claim its playable

not trying to argue but, you'd have to put a lot of hi-res textures into a game to fill up that 3.5, let alone that 8GBs. i'd say you'd really only need the 8Gbs if you plan to run like skyrim with hundreds of texture mods, shader mods, etc. otherwise, that's a lot of unneeded space xD but yes, that 8GB for about $30 less is a better deal.
Everyone took that whole 3.5GB issue as if it would kill their dog lol

It would, because first of all, they told us it was 4 GB at a certain speed, which it is not exactly.
It was a fast part of 3.5GB and a slow part of 0.5GB.
Because of that, after you fill the fast 3.5GB, it would switch to the last 0.5GB, which is very slow on the 970, giving a huge fps drop.
That was the problem and why people complained about the 3.5/4.0GB issue.

As i stated in my post, i am not trying to argue over it, the simple fact is, people take things way too overboard, I know of what the issue with the slightly cut off half a gb on the graphics card, "oh no i lost a half a gig, i feel like i lost half of my life now!", i never stated that the whole thing was justified, i simply said that it was overly exaggerated to the point of it being avoided like it's the black plague

What about the super AMD driver killing the fan speed? Anyway, today is hopefully new version day, so it is Xmas :) (if you have a proper card, lol, third world country video card haters will be mad and complain, as usual)

As someone who had an amd card before(radeon 6950), they aren't a bad company, it's just their drivers tend to be unstable but it's honestly not surprising to see driver issues lol, a driver locking the fan speed is a bit strange though(im now on a gtx 760, planning to upgrade to a 970)

And you say people complain too much... The fan lock was only in a beta driver, after unlocking the fan speeds, which gave a clear warning....

Your upgrade would be a downgrade for many people... Let's all just wait for Pascal :)

Cemu 1.1.2 is here!
Changelog said:
  • Added controller options
  • Added support for OSCoroutine API
  • Improved shader emulation
  • Improved texture/depth/color buffer management
  • Improved CPU timing and thread synchronization
  • Synchronous file operations no longer block CPU execution (reduces frame stutter)

To sum this release up: New controller options, a few visual improvements and generally a more stable emulator core and smoother framerate (slightly faster too). Compatibility improved a little bit. I know there is at least one new game that boots (although far from playable). I let you people figure out which game it is so you have something to talk about :P
Oh and also, WWHD crashes in this release. I'll look into it.

In other news, the Cemu team has expanded. Please welcome Petergov who contributed the controller options for this Cemu release. He will continue working on the options and then move on to something else.

please next update focus on getting amd to work since it is the main gpu inside the wii u but until then good luck im moving on

Awesome work I must say. I'm really impressed with the improvements made. Xenoblade X runs now and I just can't believe my eyes! Keep up the awesome work!
