Starting with something so ambitious is a bad idea for your first ROM hack. Start with simpler stuff, text and graphics replacements in games that are already well documented. The GBC/GBA Pokemon games would be a better start. Learn how to at least do the basics yourself before asking others to do the heavy lifting for you; nobody likes an 'idea guy'.

so nobody likes ideas then? how are we to get any progress on anything if ideas themselves are shut down because "nobody likes idea guys"? that stance is just beyond stupid and regressive. no wonder everyone is falling behind in the 3ds scene. the moment an idea is brought up it's shut down because people "don't like idea guys". wow you guys sure have a poor attitude on this site it sickens me.

nobody enjoys someone calling something a "work in progress" when all it is is what looks like an idea with nothing behind it and begging. god damn man.

I mean I wouldn't blame all of this but bruh, the modeling is basically the hardest :/ do you even know how much it takes.

I can understand the whole taking all the credit thing but it doesn't mean the whole thing has to be thrown down. geez. why not change the approach instead of just tossing it out? we all know it takes a lot of work to do romhacks and that requires a team. i get it that OP should actually pitch in first before asking for help and not just call it a WIP when no actual work has been done but at least make that clear instead of shutting down the ideas for a romhack just because it appears that the creator of the thread would take all the credit and do no work. there's a way better approach to this is all I'm saying. start off with actual work first and proof of it so it being a WIP is legit then ask for help.
