Sorry, but this is way too funny :D .... I really hope they find workaround tho so I can enjoy my personal backups from one card.

Don't keep your hopes too high up. Otherwise you will start groaning and griping once nothing gets done. Then again, pirates have no right to complain about what is done or whatnot.

I doubt anything will come of a blue button AP fix - Skyteam are kind of in a no-win situation; they're getting blasted for a 3rd iteration of their flash cart, and buyers of the orange button would blast them if they release a fix for the blue button...
If I were them, I'd have released the new one under a different company name - if no one knew Sky were behind it there'd be virtually unanimous praise for the device.

I was considering............

OP's real last name has 6 Characters, and his current post count is 18, 18/6 = 3..........

Sky has 3 characters so does 3ds which equals 6 characters.........

6+3 is OP's real age.............

Jokes aside, I don't think there is any possible method to upgrade current sky 3ds blue button, any claims is just a dropping of an ox. (No swearing guys) hence please stop creating threads on such topics. Pro tip: never trust email replies from such shady companies.

Meh. Anyone who bought a sky3ds after the new AP checks were discovered but before the sky3DS+ announcement; is either a fucking moron, or they bought it knowing full well it was never going play new AP protected games. You made your choice, live with it.

I didn't find out about the AP checks until November via a thread from August... Now, I bought my SKY3DS in June or earlier, but still, I had no idea. You might think how could you miss it, but really, if you don't read these boards often, how could you not?

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Let's be honest man. What would serve their (monetary) interests more? Fixing the blue card (which most of their customers already have) OR
getting them to buy their new (expensively priced) orange card and whatever cards come up next.

I think you already know the answer.. I know I do and I'm pissed because I didn't have this blue one for too long.

Why does everyone keep saying it is "expensively priced?" Or, at least, it's exactly the same price as the blue button SKY has been all this time. So, if anything, it is equally expensive, no?

You can't, gatewait copyrighted

Wait a second! I remember from another thread that Sky3DS usually send this email to people anyway... So this isn't really worth anything to get
worked up about.

I'm pretty sure it won't ever be fixed. Someone mentioned that you can't update the FGPA or whatever on the sky 3DS so it'll never ever get the ability to play the newer games. One of the big features of the orange button is that the cart is update-able. If there is a newer AP that blocks orange button, the team has the ability to update the card to bypass it. The older sky versions have no such ability, so they cannot be fixed.

Nice Buzzfeed title. We have good word that Sky is working on a new cart. The old cart is not capable of overcoming the new AP.
