Title says it, the button broke on my sky3ds while a friend was using it. They managed to solder it back on but now its now working.

Does anyone know if it uses a two port switch? I am thinking about taking it into a phone repair shop and having them desolder the old button and just leave me with two exposed wires I can touch together to simulate the button being pushed.

The way they've sealed the cart is the hard part. Theres no way to open it easily, they've super glued it to the point where you have to break it open, this was mentioned when someone tried to see the cart manufacture ID of sky.

I can open it no problem; what about the wire idea to replace the button all together?

one I know is for the light, the other is for the button, but maybe someone has a diagram for how its connected, gotta double check on that.

It's a red button sky so I don't think the light is a problem. Most switches work on a two post system that once continuity is introduced the button push option gets initialized
