Bit of an old post but why not just use the .ogg files (I believe that 3ds has a homebrew library for them) that come with the game?
Is there an example or a library for this?
I bet it would help me a lot when making new sound files, since I won't need to export the file into another extension and proprieties.

I feel like there was but can't remember off of the top of my head

I heard on another site that the .ogg files in Undertale don't have "loop points" - they're designed to start again inmediately after they end, so that should make porting them to the 3DS much easier.

Yep I just copied all of the music .ogg files out and I have the ost :D I put spider dance on for a couple of hours sometimes

@lolzvid this will play ogg files... But it isn't exactly a library, maybe you can use the code though

I'm like 99% sure you're correct. Anywho, I made some programming progress, but it seems to just give me a black screen, probs because of my setup </3

THAT SAID I made a bit of progress on movement and I tracked down what was causing the audio crack and the end! Wheeee~~

File metadata right?

Okay then, never mind...
I didn't mean to offend or anything - I just don't see the point in it. Unless you somehow ended up saving space this way - but Undertale is like 150MB anyway so it would only really benefit people with smaller cards anyway.

Awesome!

Yep, seems like I'm not the only one who this has happened to. I need to track down who pointed them out and thank them again :D

Wait, what?
Was my code loading and playing it? :O
No, META data, it's text information at the end of the file that has like artist and album, etc. The 3DS plays back that data as sound.

I believe it was mashers who pointed it out
