I guess it would make it "to much like the official game"...Bit of an old post but why not just use the .ogg files (I believe that 3ds has a homebrew library for them) that come with the game?

More than likely an oversight, or simple he wasn't sure/couldn't get it to work and resorted to something he could do.I guess it would make it "to much like the official game"...

Is there an example or a library for this?Bit of an old post but why not just use the .ogg files (I believe that 3ds has a homebrew library for them) that come with the game?

I bet it would help me a lot when making new sound files, since I won't need to export the file into another extension and proprieties.
I heard on another site that the .ogg files in Undertale don't have "loop points" - they're designed to start again inmediately after they end, so that should make porting them to the 3DS much easier.
Why? I think the point is to allow people who already own Undertale to copy their .ogg files to their 3DS SD card to use them with this port.I'd personally I'd turn the .oggs into .wavs and then into .bins.
Okay then, never mind...Why? I think the point is to allow people who already own Undertale to copy their .ogg files to their 3DS SD card to use them with this port.
I'm like 99% sure you're correct. Anywho, I made some programming progress, but it seems to just give me a black screen, probs because of my setup </3I heard on another site that the .ogg files in Undertale don't have "loop points" - they're designed to start again inmediately after they end, so that should make porting them to the 3DS much easier.

THAT SAID I made a bit of progress on movement and I tracked down what was causing the audio crack and the end! Wheeee~~
I didn't mean to offend or anything - I just don't see the point in it. Unless you somehow ended up saving space this way - but Undertale is like 150MB anyway so it would only really benefit people with smaller cards anyway.Okay then, never mind...

Wait, what?File metadata right?
Yep, seems like I'm not the only one who this has happened to. I need to track down who pointed them out and thank them againFile metadata right?
No, META data, it's text information at the end of the file that has like artist and album, etc. The 3DS plays back that data as sound.Wait, what?
Was my code loading and playing it?![]()
