The cert is the same as it always was on the nus server and the old soap should still point to that.

If anyone wants to host the files pm me I'll give you my working request soap files
Would probably be better to create a complete package, upload it to a filehoster and share it at that iso site. Hosting those files for everyone on your own server could get you into huge problems.

Off-topic but anyone in the UK/Europe willing to lend me CN(jp) or a Sky3DS? I will cover shipping

ron have you tried adding in a tmd+content files of a legit cia in the xml, and see if we could install something like that? i guess it would work, and not really important since to be able to do use this method we can install cias anyway... well, actually ntr does not let you install cias, but sure in most use cases we can. just for fun.

huh interesting, always surprising since most seem to be guys!

Every time i think I know someone's sex I am always wrong. I did know she was a she since I talked to her once on a group chat on skype.

As far as the cia idea I don't think cia files actually contain update information in them; they rely on eshop being the latest versions to achieve them.

I have had success with native firm injection to an emunand partition then flashed back to sys nand but it's only a 25% success rate at best. I just wish someone would hack GW rop loader so we can peak at 8.1 mset and get pasta working

i meant chaning the update xml so the 3ds thinks that, mario kart 7 for example, is part of the update. given a legit tmd amd cetk it should work right :)

trying to get this done using wamp but need help from some devs here. This is the php error I get:
PHP Warning: file_get_contents(GetSystemTitleHash_response.xml): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in C:\wamp\www\update.php on line 21

But I checked many times, it is there........anyone know why ? The GetSystemTitleHash_response.xml is under wamp/www/

Last edited by cultopi,
I got a ton of hard moded units if you want to walk me through a little more as to how this would work.
i never touched the soap files etc, but something has to tell the 3ds what 9.2j contains, that is the xml right?
i imagine that would have a listing of the titles/content files, i would just unpack a legit cia and add that as a listing :)
i can take a look myself maybe, but it was just an idea. i would want to know why it WOULDN'T work :)

try adding quotes

Try absolute path, for example C:¥wamp¥www¥GetSystemTitleHash_response.xml
No more php error log, but this is what i get:

Host: 192.168.1.28
User-Agent: CTR NUP 040600 Mar 14 2012 13:33:20
Connection: Keep-Alive
Accept-Charset: UTF-8
Content-type: text/xml; charset=utf-8
SOAPAction: urn:nus.wsapi.broadon.com/GetSystemTitleHash
GetSystemTitleHash detected
com.broadon.RequesterName: unitTest
com.broadon.RequesterHash: xxx
com.broadon.RequesterTimestamp: xxx
Transfer-Encoding: chunked

yes, you are supposed to get that.
That's the 3ds's request.

I thought that this 8.1j 3ds didn't have a browser for cubic ninja exploits.

Doesn't Cubic Ninja need browser access to load NTR?

no, it only needs Internet access
Browser is only for *hax

So CN can boot NTR without a browser, thus allowing it to send an update request to a local server instead of a Nintendo one thus enabling the update?

I only read into this problem yesterday when receiving it, thus am not as well informed about updating as I'd like.

Yes, but JPN CN/sky3ds are about the same price and they aren't that cheap. So first you would have to get one of these cartridge, then you have to take a risk to update (it might update to 10.3), then you can use entry point for autoboot. You can try if you can bear the risk.
