Well, if it before work, and now do not working... Why? I do not think that them allow this function change the wait time of the load RxTools..

At least GBA VC is working on emunand for me. (9.0, 10.3 emunand, O3DS)

My first guess, being that there are no patches in the /rxtools/sys/patches folder for N3DS TWL_FIRM or AGB_FIRM. If you're on an O3DS... I dunno... A lot has changed under the hood to prevent the need of decrypted firmware files, and keys stored within the program. It may have been unintentional (in which case, I shouldn't take long to fix, such as pasta mode just now) but it isn't the focus.

I can't figure it out for you. I've never had it working on emunand (and never cared to), and I don't deal with a patched AGB_FIRM since I don't have any injected stuff and I legit own the real stuff, so it will always work in sysnand and pasta mode, no matter what. I also have a DSTWO Plus, so I'll never need to inject one anyway. I don't have any games that don't simply work.

I think you need to initialize the database. You have to copy blank database files to your internal SD. then try it again. I will find a guide and link it for you. I added blank .dbs as well


1.Power off your 3DS and put the SD-Card in your PC. On the SD card open the folder “Nintendo 3DS” and the open the folder in there, you will have come to a folder called “extdata”. Create a new folder beside that folder called “dbs”. Open the “dbs” folder and copy import.db and title.db into it if you don’t have it.

5.Now go to Settings->Data Management->Nintendo 3DS Software, your 3DS should say something about data being corrupt and needs formatting

Nothing: I had added AGB_patched to sysNAND and I can not load GBA games in emuNAND in my New 3DS, only in Pasta Mode...

I have not installed patched agb firm on both nands. Try restoring.

Just editing my post to reflect the 1 issue i am having

when i booted into emuNAND (unliked) the very first time with new build i had 2 unwrapped parcels, i unwrap and i have 2 small black boxes and don't know how to remove them (i look through software in data managment and dont see any black boxes)... If i select a black box it just hangs on Nintendo logo

Second thing, when i boot into emuNAND (unliked) i have 2 small black boxes and don't know how to remove them (i look through software in data managment and dont see any black boxes)... If i select a black box it just hangs on Nintendo logo

Now it is named as "Pasta mode", is in "Advance".

About the black boxes, I do not know, I have 2 New 3DS and I never heard about it

then could you please compile the latest nightly and do a sysnand dump and restore it to sysnand ? I believe the nand dumper from RxTools is now fixed but i need a guinea pig to take the plunge

(MAKE sure to have a gateway nand backup on hand if something goes wrong, better safe than sorry )

Some information usefull for anyone willing to install rxtools nightly build. When launching rxtools I always had an error while after "installation data suite": "installation data suite failed"

Solution is easy: you need cek files for every corresponding *.bin file in the firm directory. You need to download these files manually as the cdn_firm.py script will not do it for you.

I figured out reading the source code of rxtools. I wonder how other are doing as I haven't seen anyone talking about this.

hmmz, upon booting rxTools i get "Failed to install", then when i press a key i get:
- Failed to load NATIV_FIRM: 4
- Reboot rxTools and try again
- Press A to continue

Then i'm right into rxTools menu
Did i miss something? previous builds worked fine, also the data installation.

do you have a firm folder located inside of your rxtools folder in your sdcard ?
