Copy rxTools directory to SD root.

Download 9.5 encrypted NATIVE_FIRM (0004013820000002.bin, which cakes uses) from the web, along with http://nus.cdn.c.shop.nintendowifi.net/ccs/download/0004013820000002/cetk

Change the name of cetk to 0004013820000002_cetk.bin and copy 2 files to rxTools/firm.

Run rxTools via downgraded MSET or CtrBootManager/BootCtr.

Freeze on menu

stop working on this screen. 9.1.0 pastacfw for 2.x

I'm having some issues with rxTools and I can't for the life of me figure out what's causing it. I've read thread after thread and tried everything, so I've resorted to asking.

I had rxTools installed on my Old 3DS (4.1 SysNAND, now 10.3 EmuNAND without an issue, running a nightly from sometime in September. I decided it was overdue an update, so I updated rxTools to the latest nightly. I deleted the rxTools folder (making sure to backup the firmware.bin) and replaced it with the new one. I now get 'Installation Failed' on the botton screen and 'Failed to load NATIVE_FIRM: 4' on the top screen when trying to boot using MSET.

I have tried putting the firmware.bin in both rxtools/sys and rxtools/data, and have even tried a fresh version from a certain 3DS download site. I of course have the correct slot0x25KeyX.bin

I'm not sure what on earth could be causing it.

Move firm directory (run tools/cdn_firm.py to download it) to rxTools, then copy the contents of the rxTools folder to the root of your SD card.

Thank you for testing. It is actually 261aad5 build on https://github.com/roxas75/rxTools/issues/297 .
I will report your results.

Which menu? Home menu of the emunand or rxTools menu?

I don't get what you are saying. Why do you use pastacfw to run rxTools?
sorry for my crap report...Im new to emunand. so I dont know what exactly do.
how can i manage my emunand without rxtool and gw?

Brilliant! Thanks. I see the naming scheme for the firmware is different, yet this is not reflected in any of the readme files.

Latest build has same issue. rxmode sysnand freezes immediately on the home screen. rxmode emunand doesn't freeze right away, but the home menu never finished loading... it's like it stops reading from the sd card.

Edit: Also on emunand, I cannot attempt to launch anything with the A button. I have to tap the icon (then the system freezes)

I'm following the guide for an O3DS through Browser but once I visited the second website it gave me an error "An error has occured. Please save your data in any software currently in use, then restart the system". The first website worked the first time, but now that I'm retrying from scratch it's giving me this error for everything. I changed SD card, deleted cookies and history and tried formatting with no luck. Thanks.

I got maybe 20 errors using the browser, but once it worked I was home free. You're tapping on a bar that looks like a slider with the slider in the middle, right? If so, just keep trying again, tapping on it without zooming in, zooming all the way in, etc., as fast as you can!
