Nope, both ~2009 iMacs (the all white ones) and the newer models (part chrome/whatever) have done this to me, but the older ones were far worse. Even idling they were hot enough to sear you.
If you dare, put your hand about 1/4 away from the left edge on the top.
Interesting. I suppose I could understand that since they only have passive cooling. I could certainly understand getting a burn off of one of the "bowling balls" since it's a large enclosed chamber with no cooling, but I guess I can't say that I've ever tried resting my hand on the newer aluminum models :p

Hi to everyone, I'm new to this forum and congratulations to Exzap for being the first to start this wii u emulator project, my best wishes.

My current system is:

Intel 2600k
AMD R9 290
16GB RAM

I also have an old card, nvidia gtx 570, is there anyway I can install the nvidia card as a secondary (second PCIE) card and make the emulator use the nvidia card and not the amd card?

Thanks

I don't believe so, I think you have to use one or the other...

Yes you can, your PC will recognize both. But the installation order matters,
ATI/AMD card installation, with its driver, then the Nvidia card, with the developer driver then CUDA toolkit and then the Nvidia computing SDK. With all (1 or more) displays attached to the ATI card CUDA works whenever data held by the Nvidia GPU is not meant to be directly output from the card itself. To have that, one has to attach at least one display to the Nvidia card, and disable the ATI one, essentially making the system Nvidia only (and not a hybrid), else the setup cripples the system, and CUDA does not work.

Yeah, what you do is remove the R9 290 and insert your 570 into that PCIe slot.

Coming along great
Hardware
CPU: AMD FX 6300
GPU: Nvidia GTX 960 FTW
Ram: 16 GB

Note it would not actually allow me to race

I Have that same card(GTX 570), and runs like everyone else, at last is not just a Black screen...
But that comment make me feel, that need to change my card
:rofl2:

how did you go ingame?
Download Uwizard and use the NUS Downloader from it and download title 0005001B10056000 and check decrypt content , you should get 2 files called FFLResHigh.dat and FFLResHighLG.dat in the downloaded folder , duplicate them and rename second files from FFLResHigh.dat and FFLResHighLG.dat to FFLResMiddle.dat and FFLResMiddleLG.dat and you should get those files " FFLResHigh.dat FFLResHighLG.dat FFLResMiddle.dat FFLResMiddleLG.dat " after that you should paste them in mlc01\sys\title\0005001b\10056000\content\ in cemu folder

holy crap, that's extremely impressive for relatively new emulator of a never-emulated before console.
yea, both games , Zelda WindWaker , Super Mario and Super Luigi have some kind of bug that makes the controls to not respond, zelda on gamepad selection and super Mario/Luigi on moving your character, yet their emulation is perfect ( aside from optimizations and speed )

Are you blind? (no offense) It's not near perfect, there's shader issues and many objects don't show up
Just because the models are a little bit darker and few effects aren't properly showing up doesn't mean its not perfect , atleast its showing something almost properly :v
Edit: we should be expecting a new update next week on a random day , I'm speculating between Sunday and Wednesday , because, first release came out on 13th October ( but it was compiled on 12th October which was Monday ) , version 1.0.1 came out on 24th October (Saturday) and 1.0.2 came out 2nd November (Monday)
