Hacking Help!! PSP black screen and light

Hello. My PSP 1001 is staying on a black screen and the green light just stays on. I took the battery out and put it back in and the light just stays green. Please help

It doesnt turn on. The green light just stays on

Sounds like it's bricked, how long have you had it for? Did you get it used by any chance? When did it start happening?

Got it a couple days ago. It came pre installed with cfw. I updated twice. I just recently updated it to 5.00 m33-6. I shut it off before and it turned on but now it doesn't work

I would suggest you to get yourself a pandorized battery and a prepared memory stick.

This may be the only way to unbrick your console.

Actually, no. Think yourself lucky by this mean.
Other PSPs models, like the 2000v3 and up motherboards, are unbrickable!

So, If you could find a battery, or a friend with a compatible mothercoard (TA-88v2 and lower, if my memory is good), he could prepare the battery and a memorystick, so you could unbrick the PSP.

As soon as this is dne, just update to 6.61, and install the 6.61 ME cfw.

Correction: Later models are un-unbrickable, i.e., they cannot be unbricked.

since you have PSP 1001, you can just make one yourself a Pandora Bat and Magic Memory Stick to unbrick your psp
just google it you can find lots of tutorial.
