I'm a little scared now.

After braindump is done doing it's thing, I guess I'll install themehax.

Not touching another firmware with a stick period. 9.9.0 all the way man.

Since themehax can be installed through browserhax(the only available free hack)... it means it ultimately blocks all access to free homebrew..

Are u a developer? U really seem to know your stuff?.. :yay:

I make some homebrew stuff, but I'm not as good as the guys in #3dsdev. I just hang out in there.

Getting back on-topic though:

Yep, just updated from 4.5.0-10U to 9.9.0-10U on my nand mod old3ds, and got the lockout. lmao

Did you use TFH again?

Yep, sure did.
There's another game with the 9.9 update, chibi robo. Need someone to test that too but I'm sure it's the same.

I guess nintendo has been wanting people to update their firmware to supposedly hackable firmware (upto 10.1) only to block them again later... :(

Can you guys try turning wireless off completely, reboot the device, and then open the browser? If Wi-Fi is off in theory your 3DS should not know you are not running the latest firmware and the browser might open. I am not getting this update request on my systems so I cannot test if it works.
