Hacking Stuck after downgrading MSET to 4.x

EDIT** This is NOT the same 3DS im talking about in my other post

I had an Original 3DS on 4.5U since forever. Everything worked.
Today I updated to 9.2U via sysupdater because i was tired of having to enter EMUnand to get into HBL.
I havent been able to get Gateway working via MSET.
Ive looked thru forums but have seen nothing regarding my errror.

- I was able to downgrade Mset to 4.x via RxTools with no errors
- I installed the ds profile exploit with my dstwo
- I try to load gateway via ds profile and I get an error has occurred message.

Not sure how to fix this, and i cant find any answer
I do NOT want to downgrade, my purpose in upgrading was to have a newer version installed and convenience of themehax. Appreciate any help.

NVRAM option is for MSET in N3DS. it won't work on O3DS.

You can still launch Gateway with browser.

You can't do that, Gateway doesn't have 9.x mset support for O3DS, they don't care about it, they only gave support for N3DS.

Best you can do is set up Themehax autoboot + ctrbootmanager to keep using emunand through rxTools or downgrade back to 4.x to keep using Gateway.

You have to downgrade mset on 9.2 because the mset title exploit was fixed on 7.0

In any event, Gateway does not support ANY profile exploit on firm > 4.5 (old 3ds)

You can't do that, Gateway doesn't have 9.x mset support for O3DS, they don't care about it, they only gave support for N3DS.

And the reason they only gave support for N3DS is because you can't downgrade N3DS, but you can downgrade O3DS so it's unecessary to do MSET thing on O3DS 9.2.

MSET for Gateway is only for N3DS as stated in first response in this thread.

Thank you for that clear answer. Basically yes, and i was already using ctrbootmanager on emunand. I really prefer the MSET way for GW.

Just use CFW. CFW is almost similar (actually better in some ways) to Gateway.

I use CFW for GBA games
Dont wanna download CIAS when i have already more than 60ish GBs of roms in .3DS format
(or converting)

If i downgrade, will AGB FIRM, MSET, DS Whitelist and TWL be in their respective FW 4.5 versions? Or do i have to go about installing CIAS again

But now you can have themehax in sysnand, just use ctrbootmanager to launch rxTools, HBL and can't you just create and entry for Gateway? Still better imo

ohhhh, This IS actually better! I thought of this but couldnt get it to work
What file do u point the boot.cfg to? I tried pointing to launcher.dat and it just froze there
Can u clarify this for me ?

inb4 adding Gateway to the list is not possible.

I don't really know, I don't have a Gateway card so I haven't tested it. Ot was a suggestion xd
