Hacking [Question] About Ironfall Invasion

I just got a used 10.1.0-27E 2DS from a friend (really, really cheap). I was installing ninjhax 2.5 when something came to my mind.

This 2DS has the updated Ironfall Invasion from the eshop installed and I have rxTools on my N3DS.
Could I just download the older, exploitable version of Ironfall as cia, install it on another SD with my N3DS and then just replace some files on the 2DS for, perhaps, dongrade Ironfall?

I know this things are not as easy as it sounds but I really would like to know why it wont work.

No, you can't .

Games files are written by the NAND when is installed, the files from any old version of Ironfall will have the old NAND info, you can't swap them... Well you can but it won't work.

Some identifier, perhaps? Is there any way for me to spoof that with my already hacked n3ds?

EDIT: Couldn't I use the romfs of the old one with HANS to recover the exploit?

Even if the romfs trickery works, It would be kinda stupid to use hbl to launch hbl.

NANDS are unique and any file related to them won't ever work in another 3DS.

Unless you have a kernel exploit and can modify the NAND yourself.
