@mashers Yeah I totally understand. You've done a lot more with HBL than anyone else has and I wasn't trying to diminish that for a second. Merely brainstorming in case anyone with the ability to contribute were looking for ideas.

That said, are you nearly done with what you set out to do or do you have any further cool ideas brewing? Think you'll eventually get this to become the default launcher?

Oh I totally understand your point of view. I just didn't want people thinking I wasn't aware that animation and other improvements would be an enhancement. I actually had an idea about animating some parts of the UI today, so I might have a tinker at some point. The todo list is still quite long and I do intend to keep working on this for the foreseeable future

@mashers, what do you think about what I posted about a possible idea of selecting the titles to ignore? A toggle-list would be easier than editing a text file

I like it. Should be fairly straightforward to add a grid to the settings which shows all the titles and allows you to tick/untick them. The unticked ones will then be added to ignoredtitles.txt so there is no editing of the file required. Great idea, and I'll add it to the todo list.

@mashers, When is this ever going to get hardcore mode? It's got all the bells and whistles but it is still missing hardcore mode!!!!!

@mashers would it be possible to implement alternative background to the top screens like about page and there were other too that displays text on all of the top screen? I ask because many theme makers are makimg custom panels where the text goes and it looks great but when we enter one of those screens does not look good. I hope you understand what I'm referring to. Sorry for not adding screenshots. I don't have my 3ds atm. It could work like. wallpapertopalt.png or something and if it's not found then it could use the regular wallpapertop.png instead.

Just uploaded beta 57, which adds a single row grid option. Tapping the Rows button in grid settings now cycles between 1, 2 and 3 rows.

Would it be possible to change the checkmark icon? The one when you enable/disable an interface setting and such.
It is currently very light grey which is almost invisible on certain tiles. Think it would be possible to add a small black outline to it?

I just updated from version 30-something directly to the last one and now everytime I try to open some apps, like BlargSNES and some retroarch cores, the screen freezes and I have to hard reboot. Some others, like GameYob, freeze when I try to open them by the second time (open, exit and them open again), giving a red and black screen. And some others, like FTPbrony, are having no problem at all. Any idea on what's happening? Am I the only one with those crashes? Thanks!

Edit: blargSNES just gave me a red and black screen too (lower screen red and upper black), so I guess it's not game related.

Do you have pre load titles in the settings disabled?
