@aliaspider Keep up the good work man! btw, why are the .3ds builds so much bigger in file size than the .cia or .3dsx builds? Aren't .cia and .3ds the same pretty much? nvm when extracted they're all the same size.

I've been playing on the latest .3DS builds for gpsp and everything is running 60fps solid (tried Mario Kart, Minish Cap and Pokemon FireRed) on n3DS. So good! I have a few questions:

1. Quick Menu/Default Content Directory/Load Recent - are these not ready yet or am I missing something?

2. If using 1:1 display for Gameboy/Gameboy Advance, will it be possible to get some nice screen overlays?

3. Will we ever be able to have the option to switch screen display between top and bottom?

now with latest build - the emulator neogeo at least starts! trying some metal slug 3 roms...

nothing, mtslug 3 doesnt works
hmm ok :/
what happens ? does it display an error message ? does metal slugX still works ?
because it should now, in case it ran out of memory, display an error message and exit when you press start.

the graphic problems are ok for this test, since I reduced the memory available for the program itself by a lot, I'll upload another build shortly that would help with that.

I expected mslug3 to either load or complain about not enough memory then exit.
maybe you have one from the wrong romset then ? can you try it on the fba_neogeo libretro core on desktop ? that way you can be sure you have the right one.

also, can you please tell me the 4 hex numbers that are displayed when you start up retroarch in this build ? (__heap_size , etc.)

I just tried again after getting a new neogeo.zip - I thought it had failed again because it gave some more file not found errors, which turned out to be for obscure regional neo geo bioses - but after a few seconds mslug3 started up anyway. The graphics are completely garbled but it's running, sound effects seem fine, and I seemed to be able to start a game, do some stuff and die.

..and I get the same heap etc that mordorer posted above.
