Are your game manuals working? If you see on the previous page even I had the same problem, but I updated it successfully and now both notifications and game manuals are working. If your game manuals are not working, that means you haven't updated the rxTools properly and only the theme of rxTools is changed. This happened to me because I hadn't put the the new firmware.bin in the sys folder and the old firmware.bin was still in the root. Also, you are using this link for launching rxTools right: https://dukesrg.github.io/?rxTools/sys/code.bin
If the manuals are working, you are probably on the correct version but the notifications bug is still present.

Also delete the old rxTools folder in your sd card and then copy the new folder.

Yesterday even I was in the same boat but these are the things I did and it worked. Try it again and it might just work.

And yeah regarding my question, I had to install the themes using devmenu. For some reason fbi doesnt install cia themes.

So, I finally got around to this. And everything works now. I was using the old RxTools Url. I updated my bookmark.

Glad to here you got the themes working. I've had issues where my themes get deleted. So I keep a .Cia on the SD.

Is it possible to desactivate or skip rxtools installation to direct autoboot when launched ?
I'm currently using Rxtools last nightly w/ homemunhax on New3DS and since the installation doesn't work i wanted to know if it can be desactivate or skip.

umm so i'm really sorry for being a dummy but can you help??....

so,right now my 3ds have palantine cfw and the fw is 4.3 and i have not installed rxtools and my question is what am i suppose to do to make my 3ds can run a 7.xx encrypted games without losing my save files and game?and if there is no way that i can save my savefile...still can you give me a tutorial how to run 7.xx encrypted games on my 3ds??

Hi guys got problem on DS Profile Exploit. it crashes every time I open it I have used code.bin, FBI 1.14.14 still no luck it still crashes.

Uninstall some titles from sd destination with fbi and check. Worked for me. Also if they still don't go make a new folder and move them to that folder.

That's the issue. TBH I uninstalled all of them and it was still there. Then I just restarted emunand and it was gone.

Hi everybody, actually i have an O3DS on 4.5 firmware and i have the unofficial version of rxtool with signature patched out.
So i want to know if i can change my version of rxtool to rxtool 2.6 without loosing any data.
if the answer is yes may you please provide me the step that i need to follow.

Yes, but 2.6 is outdated, you should switch to the nightlies.

Oo ok thanks a lot but could you tell how can i change the rxtools version? do i just need to put the firm.bin and rxtool.dat on the root of my sdcard?
or must i do something else?
and also the emunand i updated using the previous rxtool version will remain the same isn't it? with the same game, App ect...

Hello there, I need some help regarding seting up RxTools with pasta and cold booting it.

I've followed every step and when I boot RxTools I get this error:

"failed to load NATIVE_FIRM: 5"

What have I done wrong? What can I do to fix this?
I'd be glad if any of you give me an answer

It's okay now I fixed this at the moment, thanks for responding though.
I've been on this for 2 hours, I didn't see you had to create the "data" folder, rename firmware.bin and put it into it :/

Chibi Robo and Happy Home Designer won't boot when I'm in CFW, and I know it's not the cias fault because I got Happy Home Designer running when I had my gateway. Why? I'm on n3DS btw and I've checked already and know that the cias are already for my region...

I'm on 4.2 right now. I've tried updating it via system settings/sysupdater. After that, every time I boot RxTools, I always got black screen. Did I miss something? :/
