anywho, isn't there a petitcomputer simulator\emulator? wanted to try play games designed for it

wasn't the DIS version removed from the shop? i tried to get it :C

btw, is the qr codes the only way to share a program?
240 qr codes to scan is a pain xD

It was? I have the DSi version on my 3DS, but I don't have the latest firmware on it to check .-. It might have been removed in favor of the 3DS release though.

I think you can actually give someone the files for a game directly.

Could you mean on the 3DS version?. I love nintendo, they are cool. It'll be great if we could somehow download the projects and load them right into our 3DS, of-course I wouldn't mean something bad. Hoping for it to be able to read superior QR codes(for fun). If it only could become true, great sandboxes could come to life by us, amazing games could be made. So great!

I would apreciate to make:

1. Superior qr code :)
2. Some serious wireless connectivity :)
3. 3D Physics

In the end, I want all of our consoles power to be released.

Safe homebrew? Everyone is happy.

Thanks guys! Advance!

I bought the No.3 but I didn't know how to type BASIC to create programs.....

Anyone has any work to share?

That is going to get very tiring in only one hour. I want to be able to scan "high capacity QR codes". Direct Community coding? who thinks of that?

No QR codes for Smilebasic. You will enter short id codes that download the program from a server.

Ok, thank you for your answer.

I wonder:

0. Can we receive and sent data, fast and slow speeds, programmable?
1. What is the maximum size a program can be?
2. What is the maximum bandwith the console allows the games to run at?
3.Can we make the servers ourselves?

LOL I know its not released, I am just wondering. Also the next version is supposes to updated right?

You know I am just asking these questions because I'd like to create my litle games and stuff and play with everyone :) .

Thank you all guys.

Well, after eons this thing finally has a release date 10/15 and price $9.99. (NA)

FYI: It's now called Smilebasic, not Petit Computer 3DS.
Smilebasic previously was just the name of the unique BASIC dialect that PTC DSi used.
Now it stands for the app name and language.

Last edited by zoogie,
is there a game or app to learn how to use this programing language so we can be ready for its release? I would like to start programming my game from now! cmon!
