You can try @BobDoleOwndU method to see if it shows (I don't know if it does). Or if you still have the original rom from which you converted to CIA, you can also try to check its titleID or serialID.

I was probably one of the 1st people to do emuNAND, and probably one of the 1st people to try GBA injection. at the time i thought it would work in my emuNAND GBA injections, we didnt have any better info at the time.

But the GBA games don't run. taking bit of space.

now it seems we need gateway to fix the GBA VC to run.

and i don't want to remove any old things, in-case i break my set-up.

OK... Here is where I'm at.. I have an N3DS LL 9.0 system that I have now formatted 3 times and formatted at least 2 emunands to no avail. I can get cfw Cakes, rxtools, and pasta running and sometimes install cias to sysnand, but even the legit ones only play in cfw mode. I can't even get them to install on emunand at all. I'm fresh to this and have read soooo many tuts, and I'm not some child, I'm 33 years old. PLEASE if someone could help I would be grateful and thanks

P.S. I have no Gateway cart at all.

Do you have to have your emunand linked to install cias on it, or to keep legit cias ruining on sysnand? I followed that guide and made backup and emunand, but still no installs. By the way I have already checked the dbs files and replaced, removed, and when they are not there made blanks and nothing.

No you don't. All you quite literally need is a cia manager installed. Right now can you boot into emunand? If you can, find and download bigbluemenu.cia (i prefer this manager but use whatever you got) and put it on root of your internal sd. once in emunand run browserhax and open fbi and install the cia.

Done that and have FBI, and BBM still same errors and no install at all on emunand.

Another thing... I'm running ninjhax 2.1, do I need 1.1b instead?

Invalid argument error and it changes sometimes to no file in directory.. Odd huh?

By the way before I made my first emunand I was able to install cubic ninja and legit cias to sysnand, but as soon as I stated messing with emunand that all stopped abruptly.

I can't help you there. I'm sure someone else will fill in. But if I was you i'd try from scratch and check my microsd card and try with a new micro sd just to see if the same error pops up. Trial and error. Tedious i understand but atleast it'll eliminate one thing or another.

its not exactly windows we are using here.


in all of the installers it dont have the name, it has numbers, and no idea what number is what.

I'll give you a little trick, if you use BigBlueMenu you can launch the games from the title manager, that way you launch/identify the game and then come back to delete them without going blind about what are you deleting.

Hard to say. There's really no ETA for those kinds of developments. It might happen but it also might not.
If the only thing your son wants to play is DS games (hence the DS flashcart you had), you can get a R4i Gold or R4i RTS very cheaply (around 10/15€ maybe) and it supports the latest firmware. You can also opt for the DSTWO which is slightly more expensive but it's the best DS flashcart available in the market (it also allows to play some nice retro emulators).

But yeah, like I said, if your son's solo interest is DS roms, then a recent R4i flashcart will do the trick just fine.

Thank you again! Yes, it's just for playing games. I didn't know (and still dosn't) there was others thing you can do with theses carts!

Hey having a little trouble getting my EmuNAND updated on my N3DS.
Tried using BigBlueMenu to update to 9.5 but after restarting Gateway refuses to boot into EmuNAND 9.5
Always have to restore the backup EmuNAND of 9.0 (same as SysNAND).
