Looks like this update might cause compatibility issues (yet) again with Brahma 2. The RAM boost is worth it anyways :P

just got sleep mode working for homebrew ! also power button will be usable now. next version will fix a ton of stuff.

Sleep mode you say?

That's all I really need smealum, but I appreciate the power button fix too!

And more RAM to play with? Here's hoping Retroarch takes advantage of that. Wonder if that would be enough to get a noticeable speed increase in the Virtual Boy core...

So happy I own a New 3DS XL right now since exploits and homebrew developments are really starting to leak. This stuff has turned my 3DS into a nice little emulation machine.

No hype for sleep mode and language, huh?

Well as someone legitimately only got Ninjhax to play my imported games (which a younger me would be shocked at, because piracy's just so easy), this has me really excited. It'll make things way more convenient.

I'm waiting for someone other than smea/yellow8 to start making exploits. But I'll stick with Tubehax for now, since its my only option at this point. An o3ds user can dream of kernel access, can't he?

Couldn't you install browserhax or homemenuhax if you really wanted to? The latter is a bit glitchy last I checked, but browserhax works as a nice alternative to Tubehax. Only issue is that it needs internet which is kind of unfortunate.

I'll probably stick with Ironhax for now since it's a nice offline launcher which is mostly but I want, but I also tried out browserhax and that worked pretty well.

^ I know, I just don't really see the point in having 2 homebrew exploits on my 3ds. Especially when they're basically the same thing. Unless browserhax has considerably fewer crashes?

Browserhax is really unstable on O3DS according to certain reports.
If you want a way to launch the HBL offline and you don't have Ironfall, then Themehax is the way to go. The only HB it doesn't load out of the box is BlargSNES, and even then you can fix that with a little trickery.

Yeah man, I'll stick with the buggy stuff I already got. :P Hopefully this smea update will fix a few things. Does this update only apply to Ninjahax users? I did have Ironfall, then I deleted it.... Really regret that day

Well, for me, any entrypoint I use is really unstable on O3DS... TubeHax, IronHax, BrowserHax or ThemeHax, they all work only ~1 time out of 3.
The only one I did not test is the SSBhax.
That's why I use my N3DS for homebrew and emulators, I never had any crashes/freezes at launch on it (except one time with IronHax, the day it came out).

Really? That's odd, on my end Ironhax/Tubehax/Themehax fail 1 out of every 10 uses - it gets stuck on the black screen where it loads the ROP chain I believe, with Browserhax being insanely unstable. What firmware are you on?

All we need now is screen recording!
That's probably never going to be implemented. But stranger things have happened, so maybe one day.

To me it's more the convenience of being able to launch homebrew wherever I go without having to be connected to the internet. I don't mind not having custom themes, though I wish I could change the BGM and am looking forward to CHMM2 implementing that feature in the future.

So basically a new version of the main *hax family?
Wow, these guys are on fire!

They're discovering exploits like the Spaniards did for mines when they arrived to America. :P

I'm on 9.6 and it works 1 out of 5 times on average for me. I'm never anywhere where there isn't internet so idc about that really. CHMM2 works for me and I got different BGM in some themes, so I'm not sure what you mean. Besides, I have my DSTWO if I really want to play something TubeHax can't. (which I find incredibly sad)
