Ok, i was able to pinpoint where the issues start for N3DS (But there is NO way i am knowledgable enough to fix that...)

This function "svcCorruptedCreateThread(priv_firm_reboot);" is faulty on N3DS with the 2.x HomebrewLauncher.
I placed a printf at the very begining of "priv_firm_reboot (void)" ; it appears for a short time when i run Brahma2 from ninjhax1.1 but doesn't apear at all when launched from HB launcher 2.x
It's likely a similar issue to libkhax on N3DS; svcCreateThread doesn't seem to be corrupting as expected and just runs like the normal svcCreateThread, returning an error due to its obviously invalid parameters.

It seems I spoke too soon about it not working on the autoboot patched ThemeHax on N3DS. It does indeed work, however the boot rate is lower. On the manual boot version, I can get that to boot basically every time. The autoboot mod boots on every third or so attempt.

True autobooting directly to emunand doesn't seem to work though. Changing *any* settings in the rxTools launcher will result in a red screen every boot. Because of this, I can't change the autoboot settings in rxTools. I've manage to confirm this by fresh installing a new copy of rxTools after the failed boots, and it then works fine. By the way, did we ever find a way to fix the installation failed message for N3DS console?

Shouldn't you post this on the rxtools thread and not here?

Weird. I get higher boot rate with the no-button-holding mod

I can't seem to get any CFW to boot with Themehax. I'm on an n3DS 9.0u. Can anyone give me a rough guide on using Pasta or Cakes with themeshax? Ohter people seem to be able to.

I use Deans pasta for N3DS. Do I have to put Brahma on my sd card as well to get it working?
You could use this Version of brahma 2, till the pull request is merged, it will work with pasta.

Also you could open the menuhax_ropbinpayload.bin using a hex-editor and replace both boot.3dsx with bcfw.3dsx, then you could put my files on the root of your SD and menuhax will autoload it.
Also If you hold L a bit longer it will autoload pasta.

Edit:
this will allow you to use the hombrew launcher using one of the other entry point(ninjhax, ironhax, tubehax and so on) an still autoboot a cfw using themehax

Couldn't you just rename bcfw.3dsx to boot.3dsx?

If you simply rename it, it will replace the homebrew launcher, so you wont be able to use homebrew without converting it to cia. If you modify the binmenuhax_ropbinpayload.bin, it will allow you to autoboot the cfw and you could still use the homebrew launcher using an other entrypoint(for example ninjhax2).

Very interesting. I have to try it out!

Thank you for compiling it. I'll try it out now.

I just merged the latest pull request.
I tested it on old3ds with good results.
So, thanks to hartmannaf for the porting of Steveice10 changes.
Now it should support n3ds!
