So before I even installed Hombrew on my 3DS i've been having no problems with downloading Homebrew apps for my Wii. All of a sudden, I install Hombrew on my 3DS system and when I go to either site to download applications for Homebrew (Wii or 3DS), it takes me to GitHub where there is a folder with a mess of files that do completely nothing at all. Most of them consists o "Makefiles.whatever". It's extremely annoying because download links did not take me to here in the past. Wth gives? Did they break the links? Or am I completely missing an entirely different "download" button? It can't be the ladder considering I've data scanned the internet as well as the pages for additional links. nothing. I really need assistance.

You're either clicking the wrong links, or maybe there just isn't a right link at all. Check the legible parts of GitHub (a bit farther down from where you start) because there are often right links in there.

A lot of developers choose not to publish compiled builds for various reasons. Some github pages will have a download link in the README.md, but many of them require you to build it yourself.
Is there anything in particular you're looking to download?

I've download Snes9x GX limitlessly in the past before, now all of a sudden I get the GitHub list. The same applies for the 3DNes Emulator for Tubehax. I just don't understand how the WiiBrew.org links were working in the past and now all of a sudden i'm required to compile them myself. I have to constantly assemble and reassemble my SD Card due to not being able to get Riivolution to work with my Brawl Mods (being retarded), but that's another story, and I figure that i would start fresh (file wise) in order to debug any freezing that may occur.

P.S
I DO genuinely appreciate the instantaneous amount of help.

Read GitHub down below, there are usually links to builds in there. Also, 3DNes is old, download RetroArch (probably on the first page of this forum). And I don't know why or how you'd end up on tubehax's GitHub page...? You should just download the starter pack or the standalone boot.3dsx from smea's site.

I did look on the page. A million times. The download is a bunch of files that has nothing to do with Wii. And I'm never was on Tubehax's github page, Tubehax is the process in which I run homebrew, I was refering to the 3DNes application's github, but i'll try and search RetroArch after I can find a compiles Snes9x GX i guess.

Thank you for showing empathy and maturity.

Well, people here is used to it, some of them (a good percentage to be fair) are even programmers so they may not understand you. That's also completely normal if you think of it calmly.

Anyway, a few truths has been spoken here. Smealum offers a beginner pack in his web so you don't need to look much further, and if it's emulators what we're talking about Retrarch is already accesible and running decetly for New 3DS users, if you have the original 3DS i can guide you about whay you can use on it.

Yes, I have an original model, and what is 'Retrarch'?

You might want to check the Downloads section of this site: http://www.snes9x.com
I'm on mobile and the site isn't displaying properly so I don't know whether there's a Wii download.
You're right, the WiiBrew Download link goes to GitHub, that's rather dumb.

Edit: RetroArch is a bunch of emulators currently being ported to 3DS (they're in alpha). Some of them might not be very optimized yet so they run poorly on o3DS, in which case you might want to try alternatives like blargSNES for SNES, GameYob for Game Boy/Color, aandd... that's pretty much it, RetroArch far exceeds the amount of native 3DS emulators we have.

A compilation of emulators, usually the best of each kind. On 3DS Retroarch takes the best in terms of performances and a few alternatives. If you have the original 3DS then you have to take a different approach.

First of all, the consoles you can emulate on it with an almost perfect performance guaranteed are

Game Boy & Game Boy Color
Game Gear
NES with a few non booting games
SNES with more than a few non working games
Master System

You have to go here to get Retroarch for 3DS. The cores you can use are QuickNES, Gameyob (for non GBC games mostly) and Genesis Plus GX (for Game Gear and some Master System games)

Then, for SNES you need to click here and go here for a game compatibility list

For a faster Game Boy emulator go here and download Gameyob, it's not as stable and compatible as Ganbatte, but it's faster in general.

I think i covered all bases with this. Keep an eye on the Retroarch thread for tracking all the advancements and welcome to the community ;)

Why not just download the Wii homebrew browser then stick it on your sd card load your Wii and select the homebrew browser then select the emu you want and it downloads it's much easier than doing it on a pc then transferring plus homebrew browser has hundreds of apps and emu's to download

S-sigh, you're just downloading the source. That is, the files you're seeing on GitHub packed in a zip. Go where I told you and check my edit to my last post.
I went where you told me. The link you provided has nothing to do with homebrew or the application. I'm not asking for a PC version, I just want what i've been downloading, and as I showed you in the pic, there isn't one.

I have GameYob, CitraGBA as well as Blargsnes. The application I require is a Emulator for NES so that I can run

Thanks for the link, i'll try it out later, but what I am trying to explain that the other guy doesn't seem to understand is that I already have the rst of the app. It were those particular links that I posted that kept directing me to source. didn't click on his download link because I do not want a Snes9x emulator for PC etc. I need the hombrew application titled 'Snes9x GX'.

Anyways, i'll check out the link, and thanks for being the only one with descent enough patience and actually contributing help rather than making smart immature remarks.

I was trying to avoid the process of getting an app simply to get another app, but at this point, your solution may be my only option. Thanks.

Update:
Osakasan, thank you for solving my 3DS Emulator problem
Marko76, thank you for solving my Wii Emulator problem (though, tedious)

Solved.
