The news hit a bit ago on capcom unity, rockman corner, and siliconera that megaman legends 1 is hitting PSN

so it is my privilege to confirm that next Tuesday, September 29th, you will be able to purchase the precocious PS1 classic, Mega Man Legends, on the North American PlayStation Store. The game will be $9.99, which is considerably lower than the game's going rate on the likes of eBay. I hope you'll agree with me that it is well worth it to finally see this game available again.

The title will be playable on your PlayStation 3 and Vita, but due to a variety of constraints, it will not play on the PSP. Please be aware.

The game had a few legal issues which held it back from being put on for long but we're finally getting it. Now to just wait for legends 2.

Nice. Maybe i'll actually beat it now. I always seem to get like 80% through the game then go to something else. Granted this was many damn years ago.

nah same game worse default controls. There is a better set of controls in the options menu, which makes me wonder why they didn't use em =3=

I really wished PS4 could play PS games. I mean it's not like they can't do it after all the PS3 only emulated the PS. Still.. it's great they're finally adding the series. I just hope MML2 and the spin off Tron Bonne Adventures also comes to the PSN soon.

Wait, really? I understand the N64 controls were horrible, but PSX worked perfectly! I have left and right on the DPAD set to strafe with L1/R1 to turn. Never lock on. Basically run in circles by strafing as your forward movement, and use L1/R1 to turn and go around and just fire. It's very hard to explain, but it just feels natural that way.

no, it's the PS1 original. They won't release it on PSP because of the lack of buttons. Somebody elsewhere told me it's fine if you use the claw at which I could only chuckle.

Yes, the PS1 version functions better though :3 lot less lag, and controls way better from the outset
