Exactly. N3DS has better Hardware, so Emulators will run better unless it is Built for O3DS.Holy balls! My n3ds with ninjhax 2 blows my o3ds in term of speed!
Better not use the o3ds anymore for emulators![]()

Isn't that what CATSFC Plus is for? :/And better, CATSFC blows my PSP in speed too!
Super Mario World 2 in fullspeed! (in most times, slows down with a lot of sprites on screen)
Damn, now wishing for Blargsnes (not Blargg!) sound core being ported on!

Yeah, but Blargg is taking a lot of ressources. Since it is very accurate.Isn't that what CATSFC Plus is for? :/

Blargsnes, snes emulator on 3ds, with an excellent sound qualityblargg != blarg
What for? blaarg's APU is used even in BSNES
Yeah, but Blargg is taking a lot of ressources. Since it is very accurate.
On the other hand, Blargsnes sound core (a heavily better port of SnemulDS sound core) may suits better, considering it isn't too heavy, and offers a very good sound quality, with proper noise emulation and gaussian interpolation, with sound pitch being perfect, something that snes9x 1.43 ports (catsfc, snes9xtyl on psp) miss.![]()

I knowThe sound in RetroArch 3ds is just "unfinished", remember you're using an alpha version.

This only seems to happen when trying to play Super Mario World using the Mario All-Stars+Mario World combo cart.i just wanted to state the problem in super mario world where u cant move from the moment you are in a level (CATSFC)
this is a known problem, but does anybody know what this problem causes? can it be fixed easilly?
its one of the games i want to play most![]()

To clarify things here:Gotcha! I'd noticed there was something up with these names but I wasn't absolutely certain if Blargsnes' sound core had taken snippets of code from blargg's at some point. As for why anyone would ask it's probably to squeeze even more speed out of the core though I'm not sure if that would be a trivial task.

They should port hardware rendering from blargsnes too though. To clarify things here:
Blargg: Used by snes9x 1.52+, BSNES.
Blargsnes (SnemulDSP originally): Used by... Blargsnes
Why I suggested that: blargsnes sound is excellent.
Snes9x 1.43 ports are fast, but like zsnes is, the sound emulation is bad
CATSFC Plus is a very good step forward. Maybe it will be polished enough eventually on 3ds, who knows
The only reason why I was talking about blargsnes sound, is that it already surpassed snes9x 1.43 ports (catsfc) sound quality, and the emulator still runs very well on 3ds![]()

They should port hardware rendering from blargsnes too though.

I know the Home Systems use .cht Files, but will the FBA Cores be able to use the .ini Files soon? Also, how does one use the Cheat Files? You load the File in Core Cheat Options, and it shows nothing. I know how to use the Win Version of FBA with the Cheats, but the Android, Vita, and 3DS Port needs explanation for some.

We don't have support for external cheats on the fba core.
Win version of FBA with cheats? the libretro core doesn't support cheats at all.
