Im a total noob at doing this but here goes,
I have a 3ds XL (ver 10.1.0-27E)
and a New 3ds XL(ver 9.4.0-21e)
I bought a sky3ds one with the blue button and have read over the guide many times and think ive done it correct, but cant get games to work.
The only game that I could get working is Cubic Ninja (to scan the QR code etc)
no other games shows up apart from pokemon omega ruby but that game wont load.
I was under the impression the sky3ds would be region free, is there anyway I can get this working?
any help would be great :hateit: :teach::lol::yaynds:

i dont believe sky3ds is regionfree. so id make sure the games are from your region n try any chance cubic ninja is the only rom you have from your region?

i think in order to make it run out of region games you need to run regionthree or w/e (which i dont know a lot about at all sorry :/

and to cover my ass. i could be completely wrong. i just feeel like ive read all this on here somewhere before

To play sky3ds games region free you need to load ninjhax with the cubic ninja ROM and then use the region free launcher (included in ninjhax) to launch the out of region ROM off of the sky3DS.

Sky3ds Is not region free. If cubic ninja can run you can use a CFW to install .cias. The most recommended on is reinand but i don't use that so i myself am not sure about its workings. Tbh sky3ds is quite tedious. If you want to learn more i suggest either checking the wiki or browsing the "iso" centric "3ds" database.

He can't use custom firmwares or CIA, his versions are too high.

Ninjhax 2 already includes region free anyway tho, no? Or is that the homebrew loader?
Well.. there's other people that use Sky and play games from other regions bypassing the region lock indirectly so it's not like it can't be done.
Just don't know what seems to be the problem in this case exactly. Can't really help much other than general knowledge due to no Sky experience.

I believe RegionFree is apart of the Ninjhax bundle, so it's kind of apart of it. :P

Not sure of a bypass other than launching cfw & using the Sky3ds on that.

they definitely will age better but i feel dlss might outweigh that since it looks about as good as native resolution and much less demanding

AMD could introduce something comparable to DLSS but nvidia's got a lot more experience with that

least amd 7xxx has tensor cores which the previous generations didn't so there is the potential for AI upscaling

i think i heard of that, it's a good idea, shouldn't need a dedicated GPU just to run a LLM or video upscaling

even the nvidia shield tv has AI video upscaling

LLMs can be run on cpu anyway but it's quite slow

I had a girlfriend who had a twin sister and they would mess with me constantly.... Until one chipped a tooth then finally I could tell them apart.... Lol

They would have the same hair style the same clothes everything... Really messed with my head lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
@The Real Jdbye, I could see AMD trying to pull off the CPU GPU tandem thing, would be a way to maybe close the gap a bit with Nvidia. Plus it would kinda put Nvidia at a future disadvantage since Nvidia can't make X86/64 CPUs? Intel and AMD licensing issues... I wonder how much that has held back innovation.

i don't think nvidia wants to get in the x64 cpu market anyways
