It should run at 59.833 - 59.834FPS at all times. Se the refresh ratio under video to 59.834Hz and disable audio sync under audio options and tell me how that helps. It won't get scratched anymore at least.

It works great!
It's so smooth! So clear! So fast! So perfect! I have no complaints now, this is literally perfect to me.

Thank you!

CPS1 is like GENESIS on steroids! So beautiful on the N3DS XL <3 I have tried like all games now. around 80 % boots and works perfect for me. The other 20 % is not compatible with FBA i guess..

Hope Neo Geo will perform almost the same :D

CPS2 has some work for getting larger roms working. But when they will boot, Im 99% sure they will be perfect as well :)

Glad it worked! You helped me confirm this is an actual thing and not just me being nuts hahaha. This "solution" isn't ideal, but it works good for now. Are you using a 2DS, 3DS or 3DSXL by the way?

Regular-sized 3DS. One little question though - does the emulator save settings? Or do I have to change the configuration every time I open it? Not that I mind too much if that's the case, just wondering.

It saves as long as you use the "quit retroarch" option.

It does save, yeah. But it shares the same settings for all cores currently. So you'd need to change scaling options if you want to play gambatte for example, but the rate and audio settings should stay the same.

Oh cool, good to know! Time to dump my NES ROMset into my SD card.

While I am trying to load HomebrewLdr, anyone try SFA:CPS Changer in CPS1?
Edit: Answered my own Question. sfach does not work, errors and sfzch works perfectly :D

Dunno if anyone had tested this yet, but...

Picodrive is running Master System games at fullspeed on O3DS.
Well it seems like more and more Emus are getting better and better for those using the O3DS. Wont be long now before O3DS users will be very happy

Edit: Has anyone had any luck loading the extra SFII: CE Roms like ACCP, or the M2-7s? So far it seems like it will only load the Parent Roms.

Then lets hurry up and do a kernel exploit for 9.9 i cant wait some people are working on it :D if only smea released a kernel exploit and gave kernel access to ninjhax 2.1 on latest like he did on ninjhax 1.1 I NEED THAT DYNAMIC RECOMPILATION AND GBA VC INJECTION AND RXTOOLS WORKING
You're in Austrailia, right? I just bought an Austrailian New 3DS from eBay with 9.0 on it. Including shipping and everything, it ended up costing about as much as the Animal Crossing bundle will be priced here. If you've got the money, you should look and see if any of your local retailers have any old ones they haven't sold since launch. Or grab one from ebay. It will end up costing less for you since you won't be paying for international shipping like I did. Normally you'd pay an arm and a leg for an exploitable system, but that doesn't look like it's the case for the Australian models.

Back on topic: The new CPS2 emulator is phenomenal and very impressive for a first release. The screen size just suits the 3DS so well, too! Any games I'm missing out on? I've got the MegaMan ones but I can't think of any good titles to try out.

That isn't an option for me. I don't have the money.

Who said Picodrive doesn't boot? It works pretty well here. Still too slow for O3DS for Genesis games, but it's A LOT faster than Genesis Plus GX. Getting 36 - 40fps in Sonic while GenPlusGX barely gets 27. Maybe with some optimization it'll be fullspeed someday... Hopefully.

It's not starting for me. Does it need a BIOS?
