Of these cores from Retroarch I have played around most with Genesis Plus GX and Catsfc. Both are brilliant! I have tested over 100 games for both Genesis Plus GX and Catsfc and around 95 % of the Genesis games are perfect and around 90 % of the snes games are perfect.

But I will not waste any in depth gaming as long as the lower screen are filled with text. When the lower screen is black during gameplay I will complete tens of games for each platform :)

55fps ? wow I expected less. the normal CATSFC build is generally 50% or so faster.
I'll add it to the nightlies then.

I don't mean to pester you, but it doesn't look like the latest nightly build has the accurate sound fix like the build you sent me. Have you added it to the nighties yet?

Definitively the best handelds for retrogaming ! Cant wait for mame ans neogeo to come!

I've heard by a friend working for both CIA and NSA that they are working on a Neo Geo emulator.:bortz:
Would be AWESOME!!!!!!! Im guessing would require Cache Files though right?
Seriously cant wait to see how RA will work on the Vita.

Under the Audio Folder says (Vita) Fix the Audio Driver

I'm guessing none of these cores work properly on O3DS? I admire the work you guys are doing - I mean, Retroarch on 3DS opens all kinds of new possibilities, it's insane. So mad props for that.

It's still a shame we don't have proper NES emulation on the system though, but c'est la vie.

Gambatte works fullspeed, but it's the only one. It has a few hiccups related to vsync though and some audio issues.

FCEUMM works at about 40 - 50fps. With some optimization it'll probably run at fullspeed.

The rest all run "properly" but just too slow. Mostly 20 - 30fps.

what is the news on new build ( 18-08-2015) ??
Nothing. No new commits were made.

Oh, that's pretty darn cool. Does it have any advantages over GameYob, or should I wait until it's more developed before making the switch? Thanks for the quick reply.

I'm thinking it's going to stay out of the main build because of the impact it has on speed. I hope so, accuracy has to be secondary to speed on the 3DS.
That's fair, on O3DS I can definitely see that being an issue. But on a New 3DS it still runs at almost exactly the same speed. Hopefully weeks down the line when more and more optimizations make their way in, you guys can add it without it making too much of a speed impact.

Quick question though - if I ever wanted to build this myself, where on github can I find the updated blargg apu stuff?

Probably answered already but are saves not working for gPSP? Kind of annoying to use savestates.

Just tried QuickNES. The first thing that confused me was the SMDH info - it just appears as 'Retroarch 3DS' on the Homebrew Loader. When I actually loaded it though, it seemed to work okay until I tried to play Super Mario Bros. with it. Then I just got a blue screen.
After that I tried loading Megaman 3, and it ran for like three seconds, incredibly stretched to the point where only 25% of the screen was visible, before crashing the entire console as soon as I opened the Retroarch menu.
I restarted the console, tried again, and got the same problem, except this time I didn't open the menu. The game loaded the titlescreen, I pressed start, and the console crashed when reaching the Robot Master Selection screen. So there's that, I guess.

Judging from the sound, though, the emulation seems to be near-full speed, if not full. So I have high hopes in this emulator.
