And that's how we make pumpkin soup here at GBATemp. A little spice, something nice, and rumors that make you diuretic.

And everything seems to be fixed already. GW found some holes, Sky *still* works, and our homebrew crew have learned to use a xerox machine.

Word of advice to OP: Don't go running in your glass slippers just because the clock struck 12. Pulling out the pieces is gonna hurt.

The real question is with piracy running rampant, how could they afford *not* to?
But it's not running rampant. Only people below 9.2 can pirate any game and they won't be updating if a new FW comes out. Only Sky3DS works on the latest FW but hardly anyone has one and the compatibility blows.

Okay folks... let's get something clear:

The 3DS sells better than their WiiUnits. In fact, they're killing the WiiU. It's that bad. Hence the mobile market.

So while they sunk $$$ into the WiiU the piracy went rampant on the 3DS. Sales of the 3DS went up. Even when they tried to release a new model.

The WiiU -LOST- money this year. It's so bad they are now airing NWC on Disney trying to sell Mario Maker to sell their WiiUnits.

Meanwhile they forgot to pull their pants back up on the 3DS and now it's leaking into the treasure room.

This whole "Trojan" talk is bull. But I wouldn't be shocked if 10.x starts making more holes than it hinders.

Sky3DS and GW are actually improving the 3DS market. Just not the sales of games and
WiiUnits.

Thus the piracy blocker which was pretty much broken to begin with. It's a matter of time before they just *give* us kernel access. Then we can actually --HELP THEM-- to fix it. Like it was before they decided to be jerks.

It's actually pretty popular right now, especially with their ongoing sale and all. Compatiblity isn't that bad tbh, you get to stay what ever firmware you're on and pray there's an exploit to use CFW all over again. Only downside is, you need to wait for them to release new game templates. Other than that it's pretty awesome.

I meant the fact you can't play digital games. Lol.
