Check your wireless connections or if you're using something like Tubehax which involves modifying the DNS, it might also be the cause.

thats the 1st thing i did. i removed the connection and joined the wireless connections just to make sure.

Hmm... Did you manually install any system firmware file as a CIA to sysnand? Sometimes that can also give problems altho I doubt it's that.

The most logical reason which is a connection problem was already checked by you so I can't think of anything else.

i did install some system CIA to emunand and sysnand to get GBA games to work and stuff...

i cant remember....


Edit: WAIT got an idea will be back.


Edit 2: i blocked the Nintendo update servers for the Wii U(by which blocked the 3DS too) cause of the new things which being happening in the Wii U scene.

I own a Sky3ds. Only because my 3ds is updated to the latest firmware. Does this mean that GW now supports 10.1.0-27? I really don't know anything about emunand and all that stuff. I just got a 3ds a few weeks ago and Sky was all that would work at the time.

no, your system must be 9.2 or lower... so you can use the emuNAND feature.


Sky3ds is your only choice really atm. but in general always try to stay on lowest firmware so that if a new exploit does come around you can take advantage of it.

Thanks for the reply. That's what I was afraid of. Sky is just a pain to use. A lack of features and no game selection menu.

I also got this over and over again a few days ago. I think it was due to my slow connection speed. I just kept trying, it worked eventually after about six attempts, each of which took several hours :-/

I Fixed it. I blocked the servers.

Nice list. It would be awesome if that stuff ever managed to be added. Also, I understand that they're still working a way to fix the 3d bug with gateway mode. Part of the bug is solved with just closing the screens one time, but there's also some ghosting that still appears in some games despite this temp fix.

Why shouldn't they? Easy fixes to emunand support and "some loose change" from occasional buys aren't bad at all.
And at least the current GW users keep being happy since it's not a dead product in terms of support.

I'm pretty sure they are trying to get kernel rights on higher FWs so they can at least get the keys out of there to support newer FW updates on N3DS emuNANDs.
They wont burn an exploit to support higher sysNANDs tho, so they can stay ahead of the public scene to have a reason for people to buy their product.

Nah, totally over it. I just transferred the entire GBA library over and installed the new RetroArch gPSP and it runs GBA games at 60fps. System Menu has a maximum TOTAL installed games limit of 300.
