Only emunand (aka Rednand) This isn't support for latest firmware which is why i said "fuck" still have to be on <9.2

I don't see why you shouldn't. If your on O3ds go for it.

hate to be "that guy," but is there a detailed hardware mod tutorial somewhere? i'm interested in reading up on how to do this to my o3dsxl.....not that i actually will, but i'd rather see if i'm smart enough to. LOL

You can only downgrade with it if you made a prior back-up.

Yes it lets you downgrade but you need to have a nand backup from your console!!every console is system signed..

ooohhhh. well, crap. but i do have two totally broken 3dsxl systems, i wonder if anybody could use the hardware inside for anything?

edit: if you plug them into the charger they try to start up but shut off quickly after.

edit edit: these both broke before november 2014, so i believe they have 9.2 on them.

trust me they are unusable in the broken sense. not only are they broken in half, but the screens are shattered and pieces of plastic are missing. the most you could get from these are the guts on the inside....which makes me wonder if i could possibly swap out pieces with my current 3dsxl to get back that old firmware....this might be beyond my expertise though.
