The last couple of updates have drastically improved the stability of the emulators! None of them have a desyncing issue with the screen, so I can play Sonic 1-3 without feeling nauseous. Seiken Densetsu 3and Mother 3 now run at 60fps! However, Kirby Super Star now kills the emulator for me, and when it doesn't, it chugs at 0-1 fps at the title screen. n3ds 9.9.

Honestly not much has changed in the cores or RetroArch itself after aliaspider implemented VSYNC and aspect ratio switch so I dunno what could cause improvements or slowdown

I don't know if you have anything to do with the Android version. But you might want to check it out. I have 6 Android devices and none of them will install RetroArch. It always times out or freezes at "installing". Other apps install just fine. (I've even tried on different connections.)
Update: I got it to install by sideloading it. Instead of the Play Store. God it's buggy af. The application locked up on me every time. I think it's more stable on 3DS. Lol.

So how exactly do you install this. Should I take all the emulators off or could I just pull a select few that I want?

I dont have any problems with RetroArch on my Shield Portable or Note Pro.

^^^^^^^^^^ it works fine, I test it frequently on several devices:
- 2 x shield portable
- shield tablet
- shield console
- nexus 5
- nexus 7 2012
- nexus 7 2013
- moto g 2013
- xperia t
- amazon fire stick

And I have no crashes or lockups, the only thing I haven't tested is devices with android older than kitkat.

There is an issue with mupen64 on 5.1 that's known but otherwise it's extremely good.

When I can get the emulators to start it's fine. Sometimes (most of the time) when I load a rom it's just a blank screen. But most of the time that awful touch UI locks up or bugs out. I.E. The options just randomly disappear. (I'm currently testing on Android 5.0.1 BTW.)

wow that CatSFC video is convincing! How does it compare to the DSTWO version in terms of speed and compatibility?

I hate it when people go X Y Z is terrible, it's awful or whatever, that kind of feedback is worse than no feedback so I'll just refrain from commenting on the subject again.
I don't want to derail the thread anyway.

No it's not. The thing doesn't work at all. That's as detailed as I can get because it simply doesn't work and a number of your reviews on the Play Store agree.

I guess you don't agree with not derailing the thread

Yes it is worse than no feedback, and Google Play reviews are worthless too.
Useful feedback would include a logcat of the crash, steps to reproduce, cores tested, etc.

It works fine on all my devices without tweaking anything (I hate GLUI too so I switch to RGUI but that's it).
