Hey, I was wondering if people with a white 3DS had issues with the rear screw covers getting dirty or stained. I'm referring the rear screw covers, just below the AC charging port and above the cover plate in New 3DS models.

It doesn't look too bad in this picture, but it's much more noticable without natural light masking the problem. The wear was most likely caused by my case, since the interior is lined with black felt.

Does anyone know of a safe way to clean them? I was thinking of trying to cover it up with an acrylic paint marker, but I think a really fine grit sandpaper would be better. What do you guys think, or do you all have other ideas?

Here are some common cleaning agents you can try. Toothpaste, peroxide with baking soda. which is a mild abrasive, warm vinegar has been used to clean the rubber seals on refrigerators,

Take them off and dye them black

Thanks for the suggestion, but I'd rather keep them white, haha.

Alright, thanks for the suggestions! If nothing else, I think a very fine grit sandpaper will do the job. The idea would be to shave away the layer that's stained/dirty.
