looking for someone that can get me a private header from a new unused 3ds game
and will destroy afterwards or post if I choose to pay postage
of course id pay for the game they would have to get/use
much prefer someone in Australia but I notice I can only play Europe region games
out of the 3 choices I have with the site I download my 3ds roms from
but Europe has a much higher currency rating if I recall correctly
also I don't have the money now but id like to find someone so I can message them when I do

I could add a games to amazon wishlist and provide the link, which should allow you to send it anonymously.

I heard some games header will only work for the same manufacturer? like theres A5 C2 n 45 is that true

Regardless, the program that you'd use to patch it called No Ban No Sky will fix all your woes since you can easily edit the manufacturer.

Any header will work with any cart from any region and with any title.

Yes, all headers have a manufacturer ID, and most are C2. The game title is not tied to single manufacturer. You could have the same game and two copies would have a different manufacturer.

A single header can be applied to all games, there have been cases where the chip ID in the template has to be changed but there are only 3 possibilities.

It may have been blind luck but I have never had to change my chip ID.

The save is tied to the header, so if you just change the header and try to play it'll corrupt.

If you're on 9.2 or lower, you can use SaveDataFiler to backup your save first > Change header > Import save.
For 9.2+ with the Save Data backup homebrew, you may be able to do the same thing like SaveDataFiler. I'm not 100% sure though, never tried it myself.

Sounds like a real pain in the ass, but it should.

The second option (Homebrew Save Data Backup) should work for you though.

You can backup the save yourself. Set up Tubehax so that you can access the homebrew channel. You can then use the save data backup tool there to backup your save and inject it into the game later.

3DS files from a Sky3DS aren't valid, but I've gone online using a CIA on a CFW without issues. Is the Sky3DS using a different header format? Do 3DS/CIA on Sky3DS files have embedded headers?

CIA files don't have headers.

Are they using the console ID, or what?

What about games that are "legit" online, like the signed Majora's Mask cia?

All .cia files are completely safe to play online. Never need to worry about headers with them.
